1. 12ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರನ್ನು ಹತ್ತು ದಿವಸಗಳ ವರೆಗೂ ಪರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ನೋಡು, ಅವರು ನಮಗೆ ಆಹಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾಯಿಪಲ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಕುಡಿಯುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನೀರನ್ನು ಕೊಡಲಿ.
2. 13ಆಗ ನಮ್ಮ ಮುಖಗಳು ಅರಸನ ಭೋಜನದ ಪಾಲನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನುವ ಯೌವನಸ್ಥರ ಮುಖಗಳು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮುಂದೆ ಕಾಣಬರಲಿ; ನಿನಗೆ ಕಾಣುವ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರಿಗೆ ನೋಡುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಮಾಡು ಎಂದು ಬೇಡಿ ಕೊಂಡನು.
3. 14ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಅವನು ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯದ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಒಪ್ಪಿ ಹತ್ತು ದಿವಸಗಳ ವರೆಗೂ ಅವರನ್ನು ಪರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಿದನು.
4. 15ಹತ್ತು ದಿವಸಗಳ ಕೊನೆಯ ವರೆಗೂ ಅರಸನ ಭೋಜನದ ಪಾಲನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನುವ ಯೌವನಸ್ಥರೆ ಲ್ಲರಿಗಿಂತ ಇವರ ಮುಖಗಳು ನೋಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಸುಂದರ ವಾಗಿಯೂ ಶರೀರದಲ್ಲಿ ಪುಷ್ಟರಾಗಿಯೂ ಕಾಣಿಸಿದವು.
5. 16ಮೇಲ್ವಿಚಾರಕನು ಅವರ ಭೋಜನದ ಪಾಲನ್ನು ಅವರು ಕುಡಿಯುವಂತ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸಸ್ಯಾಹಾರವನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟನು.
