1. 19ಆಗ ನೆಬೂಕದ್ನೆಚ್ಚರನು ಉಗ್ರದಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿದವನಾಗಿ ಅವನ ಮುಖದ ರೂಪವು ಶದ್ರಕ್‌ ಮೇಷಕ್‌ಅಬೇದ್‌ ನೇಗೋ ಎಂಬ ವರಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಬೇರೆಯಾಯಿತು. ಆಗ ಅವನು ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ಆ ಆವಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ಸಾಧಾರಣವಾದ ಉರಿ ಗಿಂತ ಏಳರಷ್ಟು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ಉರಿಹಾಕಬೇಕೆಂದು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿ ಸಿದನು.
2. 20ತನ್ನ ಸೈನ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಬಲಿಷ್ಠರಾ ದವರು ಶದ್ರಕ್‌, ಮೇಷಕ್‌, ಅಬೇದ್ನೆಗೋ ಎಂಬವರನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿ, ಉರಿಯುವ ಬೆಂಕಿಯ ಆವಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಕಬೇಕೆಂದು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದನು.
3. 21ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಶಲ್ಯ, ಇಜಾರು, ಮುಂಡಾಸ ಮೊದಲಾದವುಗಳನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡವರಾಗಿರುವಾಗ ಅವರು ಧಗಧಗನೆ ಉರಿಯುವ ಬೆಂಕಿಯ ಆವಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಕಲ್ಪಟ್ಟರು.
4. 22ಅರಸನ ಆಜ್ಞೆಯು ತೀಕ್ಷ್ಣವಾಗಿಯೂ ಆವಿಗೆಯು ಧಗಧಗನೆ ಉರಿದದ್ದರಿಂದಲೂ ಬೆಂಕಿಯ ಜ್ವಾಲೆಯು ಶದ್ರಕ್‌ ಮೇಷಕ್‌ ಅಬೇದ್‌ನೆಗೋ ಎಂಬವರನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿಹಾಕಿದ ಆ ಮನುಷ್ಯರನ್ನೇ ಸಂಹರಿಸಿತು.
