2. 28ಆಮೇಲೆ ನೆಬೂಕದ್ನೆಚ್ಚರನು ಮಾತನಾಡಿ--ಶದ್ರಕ್‌ ಮೇಷಕ್‌ ಅಬೇದ್‌ನೆಗೂ ಎಂಬವರ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರ ವಾಗಲಿ. ಆತನು ತನ್ನ ದೂತನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ ತನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ನಂಬಿಕೆ ಯಿಟ್ಟಂತ ಅರಸನ ಆಜ್ಞೆಯನ್ನು ವಿಾರಿದಂತಹ ಸ್ವಂತ ದೇವರನ್ನೇ ಹೊರತು ಬೇರೆ ಯಾವ ದೇವರನ್ನೂ ಸೇವಿಸದೆ ಆರಾಧಿಸದೇ ಇರುವ ಹಾಗೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಶರೀರ ವನ್ನು ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿದಂತೆ ಸೇವಕರುಗಳನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
3. 29ಆದದರಿಂದ ನಾನು ನಿರ್ಣಯಮಾಡುವದರಿಂದ ಸಕಲ ಪ್ರಜೆ, ಜನಾಂಗ ಮತ್ತು ಭಾಷೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರು ಶದ್ರಕ್‌ ಮೇಷಕ್‌ ಅಬೇದ್‌ನೆಗೋ ಎಂಬವರ ದೇವ ರಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ದೂಷಣೆ ಮಾಡುವರೋ ಅವರು ತುಂಡುತುಂಡಾಗಿ ಕತ್ತರಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟು ಅವರ ಮನೆಗಳು ತಿಪ್ಪೆಗುಂಡಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಲ್ಪಡುವದು. ಈ ವಿಧವಾಗಿ ರಕ್ಷಿಸುವ ದೇವರು ಇನ್ಯಾರು ಇರುವದಿಲ್ಲ.ಆಗ ಅರಸನು ಶದ್ರಕ್‌ ಮೇಷಕ್‌ ಅಬೇದ್‌ನೆಗೋ ಎಂಬ ವರನ್ನು ಬಾಬೆಲ್‌ ಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಉನ್ನತ ಪದವಿಗೆ ತಂದನು.
