ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ಕೆಟ್ಟಸಂತತಿಯಾದ ಈ ಮನುಷ್ಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನಾದರೂ ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪಿತೃಗಳಿಗೆ ಕೊಡುತ್ತೇನೆಂದು ಪ್ರಮಾಣ ಮಾಡಿದ ಆ ಒಳ್ಳೇ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ನೋಡುವದಿಲ್ಲ.

- 34ಕರ್ತನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮಾತುಗಳ ಧ್ವನಿಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ಕೋಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಪ್ರಮಾಣಮಾಡಿ--
- 35ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ಕೆಟ್ಟಸಂತತಿಯಾದ ಈ ಮನುಷ್ಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನಾದರೂ ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪಿತೃಗಳಿಗೆ ಕೊಡುತ್ತೇನೆಂದು ಪ್ರಮಾಣ ಮಾಡಿದ ಆ ಒಳ್ಳೇ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ನೋಡುವದಿಲ್ಲ.
- 36ಯೆಫುನ್ನೆಯ ಮಗನಾದ ಕಾಲೇಬನು ಮಾತ್ರ ಅದನ್ನು ನೋಡುವನು. ಅವನು ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಪೂರ್ಣ ವಾಗಿ ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವನು ಸಂಚರಿಸಿದ ದೇಶ ವನ್ನು ಅವನಿಗೂ ಅವನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೂ ಕೊಡುವೆನು.
- 37ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಕರ್ತನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೆಸೆಯಿಂದ ಕೋಪಗೊಂಡು--ನೀನು ಸಹ ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸು ವದಿಲ್ಲ.
