ಇಂಥವುಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವ ವರೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಅಸಹ್ಯ; ಈ ಅಸಹ್ಯ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ಅವರನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ಹೊರಡಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ.
Inthavugalannu maaduva varellaa kartanige asahya; ee asahya kaaryagala nimitta ninna devaraada kartanu avarannu ninna munde horadisuttaane.

- 13ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣನಾಗಿರಬೇಕು.
- 14ನೀನು ಸ್ವಾಧೀನಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಆ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳು ಮೇಘ ಮಂತ್ರದವರ ಕಣಿಹೇಳುವವರ ಮಾತು ಕೇಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು; ನಿನ್ನನ್ನಾದರೋ ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ಹಾಗೆ ಮಾಡಗೊಡಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ.
