ಅದು ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಸಮಾಧಾನವಾಗಲೊಲ್ಲದೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡಿದರೆ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಮುತ್ತಿಗೆ ಹಾಕಬೇಕು.

10ನೀನು ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡುವ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಒಂದು ಪಟ್ಟ ಣದ ಹತ್ತಿರ ಬಂದರೆ ಸಮಾಧಾನಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಅದನ್ನು ಕರೆಯಬೇಕು.
11ಆ ಪಟ್ಟಣವು ನಿನಗೆ ಸಮಾಧಾನದ ಉತ್ತರ ಕೊಟ್ಟು ಬಾಗಲನ್ನು ತೆರೆದರೆ ಅದರಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರು ನಿನಗೆ ಕಪ್ಪಕೊಟ್ಟು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಸೇವಿಸಬೇಕು.
12ಅದು ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಸಮಾಧಾನವಾಗಲೊಲ್ಲದೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡಿದರೆ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಮುತ್ತಿಗೆ ಹಾಕಬೇಕು.
13ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ಅದನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟರೆ ಅದರ ಗಂಡಸರೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನು ಕತ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಹೊಡೆಯಬೇಕು.
14ಆದರೆ ಹೆಂಗಸರನ್ನೂ ಚಿಕ್ಕವ ರನ್ನೂ ಪಶುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ಅದರ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕೊಳ್ಳೆಯನ್ನೂ ನಿನಗಾಗಿ ಸುಲುಕೊಳ್ಳ ಬೇಕು; ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ನಿನಗೆ ಕೊಡುವಂಥ ನಿನ್ನ ಶತ್ರುಗಳ ಕೊಳ್ಳೆಯನ್ನು ತಿಂದುಬಿಡಬೇಕು.
