ಪರನಿಗೆ ಬಡ್ಡಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಕೊಡ ಬಹುದು; ಆದರೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರನಿಗೆ ನೀನು ಸ್ವಾಧೀನ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಹೋಗುವ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕೈ ಕೆಲಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಶೀರ್ವ ದಿಸುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಬಡ್ಡಿಗೆ ಕೊಡಬಾರದು.

- 21ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಮಾಣ ಮಾಡಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಅದನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ತಡಮಾಡ ಬೇಡ; ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ಅದನ್ನು ನಿಶ್ಚಯ ವಾಗಿಯೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಚಾರಿಸುವನು; ಅದು ನಿನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಪವಾಗಿರುವದು.
- 22ಆದರೆ ನೀನು ಪ್ರಮಾಣ ಮಾಡಿರದಿದ್ದರೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಪಾಪವಿರು ವದಿಲ್ಲ.
