ಪಿಸ್ಗಾದ ತುದಿಗೆ ಏರಿ ಪಶ್ಚಿಮಕ್ಕೂ ಉತ್ತರಕ್ಕೂ ದಕ್ಷಿಣಕ್ಕೂ ಪೂರ್ವಕ್ಕೂ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳನ್ನೆತ್ತಿ ಅದನ್ನು ಕಣ್ಣಾರೆ ನೋಡು; ಆದರೆ ಈ ಯೊರ್ದನನ್ನು ನೀನು ದಾಟಿಹೋಗುವದಿಲ್ಲ.

- 28ಆದರೆ ಯೆಹೋಶು ವನಿಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ ದೃಢಮಾಡಿ ಬಲಪಡಿಸು; ಅವನು ಈ ಜನರ ಮುಂದೆ ದಾಟಿಹೋಗಿ ನೀನು ನೋಡುವ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸ್ವಾಸ್ತ್ಯ ವಾಗಿ ಹೊಂದುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡುವನು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.ಆಗ ನಾವು ಬೇತ್‌ಪೆಗೋರಿಗೆ ಎದುರಾಗಿರುವ ತಗ್ಗಿನಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸವಾಗಿದ್ದೆವು.
