35ಮುಯ್ಯಿಗೆ ಮುಯ್ಯಿ ಕೊಡುವದೂ ಪ್ರತಿಫಲ ಕೊಡುವದೂ ನನ್ನದೇ; ತಕ್ಕ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರ ಕಾಲು ಜಾರುವದು; ಅವರ ಕಳವಳದ ದಿವಸವು ಸವಿಾಪ ವಾಗಿದೆ. ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಬರುವವುಗಳು ಬೇಗ ಬರುತ್ತವೆ.
36ಕರ್ತನು ತನ್ನ ಜನರಿಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರಿಸುವನು; ಅವರ ಬಲಹೋಯಿತೆಂದೂ ಬಚ್ಚಿಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವರೂ ಉಳಿ ದವರೂ ಇಲ್ಲವೆಂದೂ ನೋಡಿದಾಗ ತನ್ನ ದಾಸರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಪಶ್ಚಾತ್ತಾಪಪಡುವನು.
37ಆಗ ಅವನು ಹೇಳುವದೇನಂದರೆ--ಅವರ ದೇವರುಗಳು ಎಲ್ಲಿ? ಅವರು ನಂಬಿಕೊಂಡಂಥ,
38ಅವರ ಬಲಿಗಳ ಕೊಬ್ಬನ್ನು ತಿಂದಂಥ, ಅವರ ಪಾನದ ಅರ್ಪಣೆಗಳ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸ ಕುಡಿದಂಥ ಅವರ ಬಂಡೆಯು ಎಲ್ಲಿ? ಅವರು ಎದ್ದು ನಿಮಗೆ ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡಲಿ; ನಿಮಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಕಾವಲಾಗಲಿ.
39ನಾನು ಆತನೇ ಎಂದೂ ನನ್ನ ಹಾಗೆ ಬೇರೆ ದೇವರಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದೂ ಈಗ ನೋಡಿರಿ; ನಾನೇ ಸಾಯಿಸು ತ್ತೇನೆ, ಬದುಕಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ; ಗಾಯ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ, ನಾನೇ ಸ್ವಸ್ಥ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ. ನನ್ನ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ತಪ್ಪಿಸುವವನು ಯಾರೂ ಇಲ್ಲ.
