ಧರ್ಮೋಪದೇಶಕಾಂಡ 32
ಓ ಆಕಾಶಗಳೇ ಕಿವಿಗೊಡಿರಿ, ನಾನು ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ; ಓ ಭೂಮಿಯೇ, ನನ್ನ ಬಾಯಿಯ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳು.
Give ear, O ye heavens, and I will speak; and hear, O earth, the words of my mouth.
ನನ್ನ ಬೋಧನೆಯು ಮಳೆಯಂತೆ ಸುರಿಯುವದು; ನನ್ನ ಮಾತು ಮಂಜಿನಂತೆಯೂ ಹುಲ್ಲಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೀಳುವ ತುಂತುರಿನ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಪಲ್ಯದ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೀಳುವ ವೃಷ್ಟಿಗಳ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಬೀಳುವದು.
My doctrine shall drop as the rain, my speech shall distil as the dew, as the small rain upon the tender herb, and as the showers upon the grass:
ಕರ್ತನ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ನಾನು ಸಾರುತ್ತೇನೆ. ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ಕೊಡಿರಿ.
Because I will publish the name of the LORD: ascribe ye greatness unto our God.
ಆತನೇ ಬಂಡೆ. ಆತನ ಕಾರ್ಯವು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ವಾದದ್ದು. ಆತನ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ನ್ಯಾಯವಾಗಿವೆ; ಆತನು ಸತ್ಯದ ಮತ್ತು ದೋಷರಹಿತನಾದ ದೇವರು, ಆತನು ನೀತಿವಂತನೂ ಯಥಾರ್ಥನೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
[He is] the Rock, his work [is] perfect: for all his ways [are] judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right [is] he.
ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ತಾವೇ ಕೆಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರು. ಅವರ ಗುರುತು ಆತನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಲ್ಲದವರ ಗುರುತು. ಅವರು ಮೂರ್ಖರಾದ ವಕ್ರಸಂತತಿಯೇ.
They have corrupted themselves, their spot [is] not [the spot] of his children: [they are] a perverse and crooked generation.
ಓ ಮೂರ್ಖರಾದ ಬುದ್ಧಿಹೀನ ಜನರೇ, ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಹೀಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿಯಾಗಿ ಕೊಡುತ್ತೀರೋ? ಆತನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡುಕೊಂಡ ತಂದೆಯಲ್ಲವೋ? ಆತನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಮಾಡಿ ಸ್ಥಿರಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
Do ye thus requite the LORD, O foolish people and unwise? [is] not he thy father [that] hath bought thee? hath he not made thee, and established thee?
ಪೂರ್ವದ ದಿವಸಗಳನ್ನು ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಮಾಡಿಕೊ; ತಲ ತಲಾಂತರಗಳ ವರುಷಗಳನ್ನು ಗ್ರಹಿಸಿಕೊ; ನಿನ್ನ ತಂದೆ ಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳು, ಅವನು ನಿನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸುವನು. ನಿನ್ನ ಹಿರಿಯರನ್ನು ಕೇಳು, ಅವರು ನಿನಗೆ ಹೇಳುವರು.
Remember the days of old, consider the years of many generations: ask thy father, and he will shew thee; thy elders, and they will tell thee.
ಮಹೋನ್ನತನು ಜನಾಂಗಗಳಿಗೆ ಸ್ವಾಸ್ತ್ಯ ಹಂಚಿ ಆತನು ಆದಾಮನ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ವಿಂಗಡಿಸಿದಾಗ ಇಸ್ರಾ ಯೇಲ್‌ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಲೆಕ್ಕದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಜನಗಳ ಮೇರೆಗಳನ್ನು ಇಟ್ಟನು.
When the most High divided to the nations their inheritance, when he separated the sons of Adam, he set the bounds of the people according to the number of the children of Israel.
ಕರ್ತನ ಪಾಲು ಆತನ ಜನವೇ; ಯಾಕೋಬು ಆತನ ಸ್ವಾಸ್ತ್ಯದ ಪಾಲು.
For the LORD’s portion [is] his people; Jacob [is] the lot of his inheritance.
ಆತನು ಅರಣ್ಯದ ಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಕಿರುಚುವ ಅಡವಿಯ ಕಾಡಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಅವನನ್ನು ಕಂಡುಕೊಂಡನು; ಆತನು ಅವನನ್ನು ನಡಿಸಿ, ಉಪದೇಶಿಸಿದನು. ತನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣುಗುಡ್ಡೆಯಂತೆ ಕಾಪಾಡಿದನು.
He found him in a desert land, and in the waste howling wilderness; he led him about, he instructed him, he kept him as the apple of his eye.
ಹದ್ದು ತನ್ನ ಗೂಡಿನಿಂದ ಮರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊರಡಿಸಿ ಅವುಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ರೆಕ್ಕೆಯನ್ನಾಡಿಸಿ ತನ್ನ ರೆಕ್ಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ಚಾಚಿ, ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ರೆಕ್ಕೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಎತ್ತಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ
As an eagle stirreth up her nest, fluttereth over her young, spreadeth abroad her wings, taketh them, beareth them on her wings:
ಕರ್ತನು ಒಬ್ಬನೇ ಅವನನ್ನು ನಡಿಸಿದನು. ಅನ್ಯ ದೇವರು ಒಬ್ಬನೂ ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇದ್ದಿಲ್ಲ.
[So] the LORD alone did lead him, and [there was] no strange god with him.
ಅವನು ಹೊಲದ ಆದಾಯವನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಎತ್ತರವಾದ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಹೋಗ ಮಾಡಿ ಬಂಡೆಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ಜೇನನ್ನೂ ಬಿಳೀ ಕಲ್ಲಿನ ಬಂಡೆಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ಎಣ್ಣೆಯನ್ನೂ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಕುಡಿಯಲು ಕೊಟ್ಟನು.
He made him ride on the high places of the earth, that he might eat the increase of the fields; and he made him to suck honey out of the rock, and oil out of the flinty rock;
ಹಸುಗಳ ಬೆಣ್ಣೆಯನ್ನೂ ಕುರಿಗಳ ಹಾಲನ್ನೂ ಕುರಿಮರಿಗಳ ಕೊಬ್ಬಿನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಬಾಷಾನಿನ ಟಗರು ಗಳನ್ನೂ ಹೋತಗಳನ್ನೂ ಉತ್ತಮ ಗೋಧಿಯ ಸಂಗಡ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು. ನೀನು ಶುದ್ಧ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸವನ್ನು ಕುಡಿದಿ.
Butter of kine, and milk of sheep, with fat of lambs, and rams of the breed of Bashan, and goats, with the fat of kidneys of wheat; and thou didst drink the pure blood of the grape.
ಆದರೆ ಯೆಶುರೂನು ಕೊಬ್ಬಿ ಒದ್ದನು, ನೀನು ಕೊಬ್ಬಿದವನಾಗಿ ಉಬ್ಬಿದಿ, ನೀನು ಕೊಬ್ಬಿನಿಂದ ಮುಚ್ಚ ಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿ. ಅವನು ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಉಂಟುಮಾಡಿದ ದೇವರನ್ನು ತೊರೆದು ತನ್ನ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯ ಬಂಡೆಯನ್ನು ಅಲಕ್ಷ್ಯ ಮಾಡಿದನು.
But Jeshurun waxed fat, and kicked: thou art waxen fat, thou art grown thick, thou art covered [with fatness;] then he forsook God [which] made him, and lightly esteemed the Rock of his salvation.
ಅನ್ಯದೇವತೆಗಳಿಂದ ಆತನಿಗೆ ಅವರು ರೋಷ ಹುಟ್ಟಿಸಿದರು. ಅಸಹ್ಯವಾದವುಗಳಿಂದ ಆತನಿಗೆ ಕೋಪ ವನ್ನು ಎಬ್ಬಿಸಿದರು.
They provoked him to jealousy with strange [gods], with abominations provoked they him to anger.
ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಅಲ್ಲ, ದೆವ್ವಗಳಿಗೆ, ಅವರು ಅರಿಯದ ದೇವರುಗಳಿಗೆ, ಇತ್ತಲಾಗಿ ಬಂದ ಹೊಸ ದೇವರು ಗಳಿಗೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪಿತೃಗಳು ಭಯಪಡದವುಗಳಿಗೆ ಬಲಿ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದರು.
They sacrificed unto devils, not to God; to gods whom they knew not, to new [gods that] came newly up, whom your fathers feared not.
ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಹುಟ್ಟಿಸಿದ ಬಂಡೆಯನ್ನು ನೆನಸದೆ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ರೂಪಿಸಿದ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಮರೆತುಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಿ.
Of the Rock [that] begat thee thou art unmindful, and hast forgotten God that formed thee.
ಕರ್ತನು ಅದನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಕೋಪದಿಂದ ತನ್ನ ಕುಮಾರ ಕುಮಾರ್ತೆಯರನ್ನು ಅಸಹ್ಯಿಸಿಕೊಂಡನು.
And when the LORD saw [it], he abhorred [them], because of the provoking of his sons, and of his daughters.
ಆತನು--ನನ್ನ ಮುಖವನ್ನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಮರೆ ಮಾಡುವೆನು; ಅವರ ಅಂತ್ಯವು ಏನೆಂದು ನೋಡು ವೆನು; ಅವರು ಮೂರ್ಖ ಸಂತತಿಯೇ, ನಂಬಿಕೆಯಿಲ್ಲದ ಮಕ್ಕಳೇ.
And he said, I will hide my face from them, I will see what their end [shall be:] for they [are] a very froward generation, children in whom [is] no faith.
ದೇವರಲ್ಲದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವರು ನನಗೆ ರೋಷ ಹುಟ್ಟಿಸಿ ದರು; ತಮ್ಮ ವ್ಯರ್ಥವಾದವುಗಳಿಂದ ನನಗೆ ಕೋಪ ವನ್ನು ಎಬ್ಬಿಸಿದರು. ಜನವಲ್ಲದ್ದರಿಂದ ನಾನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ರೋಷ ಹುಟ್ಟಿಸುವೆನು; ಮೂಢ ಜನಾಂಗದಿಂದ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಕೋಪವನ್ನೆಬ್ಬಿಸುವೆನು.
They have moved me to jealousy with [that which is] not God; they have provoked me to anger with their vanities: and I will move them to jealousy with [those which are] not a people; I will provoke them to anger with a foolish nation.
ನನ್ನ ಕೋಪದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಂಕಿಹತ್ತಿತು; ಅದು ಕೆಳಗಿನ ಪಾತಾಳದ ಮಟ್ಟಿಗೂ ಉರಿದು ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನೂ ಅದರ ಫಲವನ್ನೂ ತಿಂದುಬಿಟ್ಟು ಬೆಟ್ಟಗಳ ಅಸ್ತಿವಾರವನ್ನು ದಹಿಸುವದು.
For a fire is kindled in mine anger, and shall burn unto the lowest hell, and shall consume the earth with her increase, and set on fire the foundations of the mountains.
ನಾನು ಕೇಡುಗಳನ್ನು ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೂಡಿಸಿ ಡುವೆನು; ನನ್ನ ಬಾಣಗಳನ್ನು ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಎಸೆದು ತೀರಿಸುವೆನು.
I will heap mischiefs upon them; I will spend mine arrows upon them.
ಅವರು ಹಸಿವೆಯಿಂದ ಬಳಲಿಹೋಗುವರು, ಜ್ವಾಲೆಯಿಂದಲೂ ಕಠಿಣವಾಗಿ ಸಂಹರಿಸಲ್ಪಡುವರು. ಕಾಡುಮೃಗಗಳ ಹಲ್ಲನ್ನು, ಧೂಳಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಹಾವು ಗಳ ವಿಷದ ಸಂಗಡ ಅವರಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಕಳುಹಿಸುವೆನು.
[They shall be] burnt with hunger, and devoured with burning heat, and with bitter destruction: I will also send the teeth of beasts upon them, with the poison of serpents of the dust.
ಹೊರಗೆ ಕತ್ತಿಯೂ ಒಳಗೆ ಭಯವೂ ಪ್ರಾಯ ಸ್ಥನನ್ನೂ ಕನ್ನಿಕೆಯನ್ನೂ ನರೇಕೂದಲಿನವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಮೊಲೆ ಕೂಸನ್ನೂ ಸಂಹರಿಸುವವು.
The sword without, and terror within, shall destroy both the young man and the virgin, the suckling [also] with the man of gray hairs.
ನಾನು--ಅವರನ್ನು ಚದುರಿಸಿಬಿಡುವೆನೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿಕೊಂಡೆನು; ಅವರ ಜ್ಞಾಪಕವನ್ನು ಮನುಷ್ಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಇರದ ಹಾಗೆ ಮಾಡುವೆನು.
I said, I would scatter them into corners, I would make the remembrance of them to cease from among men:
ಅವರ ಶತ್ರುಗಳು--ನಮ್ಮ ಕೈಗಳು ಉನ್ನತವಾಗಿವೆ ಎಂದೂ ಕರ್ತನು ಇವುಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಮಾಡಲಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದೂ ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡು ಗರ್ವದಿಂದ ನಡೆಯುವ ಶತ್ರುವಿನ ಕೋಪಕ್ಕೆ ಹೆದರದೆ ಹೋದೆನು.
Were it not that I feared the wrath of the enemy, lest their adversaries should behave themselves strangely, [and] lest they should say, Our hand [is] high, and the LORD hath not done all this.
ಅವರು ಆಲೋಚನೆಯಿಲ್ಲದ ಜನಾಂಗವೇ; ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಗ್ರಹಿಕೆ ಇಲ್ಲ.
For they [are] a nation void of counsel, neither [is there any] understanding in them.
ಅವರು ಜ್ಞಾನವಂತರಾಗಿ ಇದರ ವಿಷಯ ಬುದ್ಧಿ ತಂದುಕೊಂಡು ತಮ್ಮ ಕಡೇಕಾಲಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಗ್ರಹಿಕೆಯುಳ್ಳ ವರಾದರೆ ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಒಳ್ಳೇದು!
O that they were wise, [that] they understood this, [that] they would consider their latter end!
ಅವರ ಬಂಡೆ ಅವರನ್ನು ಮಾರಿ ಕರ್ತನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಅಟ್ಟಿಬಿಟ್ಟರೆ ಒಬ್ಬನು ಹೇಗೆ ಸಾವಿರ ಮಂದಿ ಯನ್ನು ಹಿಂದಟ್ಟುವನು? ಇಬ್ಬರು ಹೇಗೆ ಹತ್ತು ಸಾವಿರ ಮಂದಿಯನ್ನು ಓಡಿಸುವರು?
How should one chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight, except their Rock had sold them, and the LORD had shut them up?
ನಮ್ಮ ಬಂಡೆಯ ಹಾಗೆ ಅವರ ಬಂಡೆ ಅಲ್ಲ. ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಶತ್ರುಗಳೇ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿ.
For their rock [is] not as our Rock, even our enemies themselves [being] judges.
ಅವರ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷೇಗಿಡ ಸೊದೋಮಿನ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷೇಗಿಡ ದಿಂದಲೂ ಗೊಮೋರದ ಹೊಲಗಳೊಳಗಿಂದಲೂ ಅವೆ; ಅವರ ಹಣ್ಣುಗಳು ವಿಷದ ಹಣ್ಣುಗಳು; ಅವರ ಗೊಂಚಲುಗಳು ಕಹಿಯಾಗಿವೆ.
For their vine [is] of the vine of Sodom, and of the fields of Gomorrah: their grapes [are] grapes of gall, their clusters [are] bitter:
ಅವರ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸವು ಘಟಸರ್ಪಗಳ ವಿಷವೂ ಹಾವುಗಳ ಕ್ರೂರ ವಿಷವೂ ಆಗಿದೆ.
Their wine [is] the poison of dragons, and the cruel venom of asps.
ಅದು ನನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಬಚ್ಚಿಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟದ್ದಾಗಿದ್ದು ನನ್ನ ಉಗ್ರಾಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮುದ್ರೆ ಹಾಕಲ್ಪಟ್ಟದ್ದಲ್ಲವೋ?
[Is] not this laid up in store with me, [and] sealed up among my treasures?
ಮುಯ್ಯಿಗೆ ಮುಯ್ಯಿ ಕೊಡುವದೂ ಪ್ರತಿಫಲ ಕೊಡುವದೂ ನನ್ನದೇ; ತಕ್ಕ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರ ಕಾಲು ಜಾರುವದು; ಅವರ ಕಳವಳದ ದಿವಸವು ಸವಿಾಪ ವಾಗಿದೆ. ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಬರುವವುಗಳು ಬೇಗ ಬರುತ್ತವೆ.
To me [belongeth] vengeance, and recompence; their foot shall slide in [due] time: for the day of their calamity [is] at hand, and the things that shall come upon them make haste.
ಕರ್ತನು ತನ್ನ ಜನರಿಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರಿಸುವನು; ಅವರ ಬಲಹೋಯಿತೆಂದೂ ಬಚ್ಚಿಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವರೂ ಉಳಿ ದವರೂ ಇಲ್ಲವೆಂದೂ ನೋಡಿದಾಗ ತನ್ನ ದಾಸರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಪಶ್ಚಾತ್ತಾಪಪಡುವನು.
For the LORD shall judge his people, and repent himself for his servants, when he seeth that [their] power is gone, and [there is] none shut up, or left.
ಆಗ ಅವನು ಹೇಳುವದೇನಂದರೆ--ಅವರ ದೇವರುಗಳು ಎಲ್ಲಿ? ಅವರು ನಂಬಿಕೊಂಡಂಥ,
And he shall say, Where [are] their gods, [their] rock in whom they trusted,
ಅವರ ಬಲಿಗಳ ಕೊಬ್ಬನ್ನು ತಿಂದಂಥ, ಅವರ ಪಾನದ ಅರ್ಪಣೆಗಳ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸ ಕುಡಿದಂಥ ಅವರ ಬಂಡೆಯು ಎಲ್ಲಿ? ಅವರು ಎದ್ದು ನಿಮಗೆ ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡಲಿ; ನಿಮಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಕಾವಲಾಗಲಿ.
Which did eat the fat of their sacrifices, [and] drank the wine of their drink offerings? let them rise up and help you, [and] be your protection.
ನಾನು ಆತನೇ ಎಂದೂ ನನ್ನ ಹಾಗೆ ಬೇರೆ ದೇವರಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದೂ ಈಗ ನೋಡಿರಿ; ನಾನೇ ಸಾಯಿಸು ತ್ತೇನೆ, ಬದುಕಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ; ಗಾಯ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ, ನಾನೇ ಸ್ವಸ್ಥ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ. ನನ್ನ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ತಪ್ಪಿಸುವವನು ಯಾರೂ ಇಲ್ಲ.
See now that I, [even] I, [am] he, and [there is] no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither [is there any] that can deliver out of my hand.
ನಾನು ಆಕಾಶಕ್ಕೆ ನನ್ನ ಕೈಯನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ--ನಾನು ನಿತ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಬದುಕುತ್ತೇನೆಂದು ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ.
For I lift up my hand to heaven, and say, I live for ever.
ನಾನು ಮಿಂಚುವ ಕತ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಹದಮಾಡುವಾಗ, ನನ್ನ ಕೈ ನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ಹಿಡುಕೊಳ್ಳುವಾಗ, ನನ್ನ ಶತ್ರುಗಳಿಗೆ ಮುಯ್ಯಿಗೆ ಮುಯ್ಯಿ ತೀರಿಸಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಗೆಮಾಡುವವರಿಗೆ ಮುಯ್ಯಿ ತೀರಿಸುವೆನು.
If I whet my glittering sword, and mine hand take hold on judgment; I will render vengeance to mine enemies, and will reward them that hate me.
ಸತ್ತವರ ಮತ್ತು ಸೆರೆಯವರ ರಕ್ತದಿಂದಲೂ ಆರಂಭದ ಶತ್ರುವಿನ ಪ್ರತೀಕಾರದಿಂದಲೂ ನನ್ನ ಬಾಣಗಳನ್ನು ರಕ್ತದಿಂದ ಅಮಲೇರುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡು ವೆನು. ನನ್ನ ಕತ್ತಿ ಮಾಂಸವನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನುವದು.
I will make mine arrows drunk with blood, and my sword shall devour flesh; [and that] with the blood of the slain and of the captives, from the beginning of revenges upon the enemy.
ಓ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳೇ, ಆತನ ಜನರ ಸಂಗಡ ಹರ್ಷಿಸಿರಿ; ಆತನು ತನ್ನ ದಾಸರ ರಕ್ತಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ಮುಯ್ಯಿ ತೀರಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ; ತನ್ನ ಶತ್ರುಗಳಿಗೆ ಮುಯ್ಯಿಗೆ ಮುಯ್ಯಿ ತೀರಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ; ತನ್ನ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರವೂ ತನ್ನ ಜನರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರವೂ ಕರುಣೆಯುಳ್ಳವನಾಗಿರುವನು ಎಂಬದೇ.
Rejoice, O ye nations, [with] his people: for he will avenge the blood of his servants, and will render vengeance to his adversaries, and will be merciful unto his land, [and] to his people.
ಆಗ ಮೋಶೆಯು ನೂನನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೆಹೋಶುವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಬಂದು ಈ ಹಾಡಿನ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಜನರು ಕೇಳುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದನು.
And Moses came and spake all the words of this song in the ears of the people, he, and Hoshea the son of Nun.
ಮೋಶೆಯು ಈ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿ ತೀರಿಸಿದಾಗ ಅವರಿಗೆ--
And Moses made an end of speaking all these words to all Israel:
ನಾನು ಈ ಹೊತ್ತು ನಿಮಗೆ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯಾಗಿ ಹೇಳುವ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹೃದಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇಡಿರಿ; ಈ ನ್ಯಾಯಪ್ರಮಾಣದ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕೈಕೊಳ್ಳುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಬೇಕು.
And he said unto them, Set your hearts unto all the words which I testify among you this day, which ye shall command your children to observe to do, all the words of this law.
ಇದು ನಿಮಗೆ ವ್ಯರ್ಥವಾದದ್ದಲ್ಲ, ಇದು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಜೀವವೇ. ನೀವು ಸ್ವಾಧೀನಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಯೊರ್ದನನ್ನು ದಾಟುವ ಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇದರಿಂದಲೇ ನಿಮ್ಮ ದಿವಸಗಳನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಿರಿ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
For it [is] not a vain thing for you; because it [is] your life: and through this thing ye shall prolong [your] days in the land, whither ye go over Jordan to possess it.
ಅದೇ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ತನು ಮೋಶೆಗೆ--
And the LORD spake unto Moses that selfsame day, saying,
ಈ ಅಬಾರೀಮ್‌ ಪರ್ವತದ ಮೇಲೆ ಮೋವಾಬ್‌ ದೇಶದ ಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಯೆರಿಕೋವಿಗೆ ಎದುರಾಗಿಯೂ ಇರುವ ನೆಬೋ ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ಮೇಲೆ ಏರಿಹೋಗು; ನಾನು ಇಸ್ರಾ ಯೇಲ್‌ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಸ್ವಾಸ್ತ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಕೊಡುವ ಕಾನಾನ್‌ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ನೋಡು,
Get thee up into this mountain Abarim, [unto] mount Nebo, which [is] in the land of Moab, that [is] over against Jericho; and behold the land of Canaan, which I give unto the children of Israel for a possession:
ನಿನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರನಾದ ಆರೋನನು ಹೋರ್‌ ಬೆಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಸತ್ತು ತನ್ನ ಜನರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕೂಡಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಹಾಗೆ ನೀನು ಏರಿಹೋಗುವ ಬೆಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಸತ್ತು ನಿನ್ನ ಜನರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕೂಡಿಸಲ್ಪಡಬೇಕು.
And die in the mount whither thou goest up, and be gathered unto thy people; as Aaron thy brother died in mount Hor, and was gathered unto his people:
ಕಾರಣವೇನಂದರೆ, ನೀವು ಜಿನ್‌ ಅರಣ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾದೇಶಿನ ಮೆರೀಬಾದ ನೀರಿನ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಮಕ್ಕಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡದೆ ನನಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಆಜ್ಞೆ ವಿಾರಿದಿರಿ.ನೀನು ಆ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಕಣ್ಣಾರೆ ನೋಡುವಿ; ಆದರೆ ನಾನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಕೊಡುವ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀನು ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸುವದಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
Because ye trespassed against me among the children of Israel at the waters of Meribah-Kadesh, in the wilderness of Zin; because ye sanctified me not in the midst of the children of Israel.
ನೀನು ಆ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಕಣ್ಣಾರೆ ನೋಡುವಿ; ಆದರೆ ನಾನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಕೊಡುವ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀನು ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸುವದಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
Yet thou shalt see the land before [thee;] but thou shalt not go thither unto the land which I give the children of Israel.
