2. 17ತನ್ನ ಜೀವಮಾನದಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅವನು ಕತ್ತಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಿನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ; ತನ್ನ ವ್ಯಾಧಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಬಹಳ ವ್ಯಥೆಯೂ ಕ್ರೋಧವೂ ಇರುತ್ತದೆ.
3. 18ನಾನು ಕಂಡದ್ದನ್ನು ನೋಡು; ದೇವರು ತನಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟದ್ದನ್ನು ಸೂರ್ಯನ ಕೆಳಗೆ ತಾನು ಕೈಕೊಂಡ ಪ್ರಯಾಸದ ಸುಖವನ್ನು ಅನುಭವಿಸಿ ತಿಂದು ಕುಡಿ ಯುವದು ಮನುಷ್ಯನಿಗೆ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದೂ ಉಚಿತವಾದದ್ದೂ ಆಗಿದೆ; ಅದು ಅವನ ಪಾಲು.
