ಕುಡಿಯು ವದು ಆಜ್ಞಾನುಸಾರವಾಗಿತ್ತು; ಯಾರೂ ಬಲವಂತ ಮಾಡಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಹೀಗೆ ಅರಸನು ತನ್ನ ಮನೆ ವಾರ್ತೆಯ ವರಿಗೆಲ್ಲಾ ಪ್ರತಿ ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಇಷ್ಟದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಮಾಡುವಂತೆ ಅವರಿಗೆ ನೇಮಿಸಿದ್ದನು.
Kudiyu vadu aajnyaanusaaravaagittu; yaaroo balavanta maadalilla; heege arasanu tanna mane vaarteya varigellaa prati manushyana ishtada prakaara maaduvante avarige nemisiddanu.

- 7ಅರಸನ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಗೆ ತಕ್ಕಂತೆ ರಾಜರ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸ ವನ್ನು ನಾನಾವಿಧವಾದ ಬಂಗಾರದ ಪಾತ್ರೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿಯಾಗಿ ಕುಡಿಯಲು ಕೊಟ್ಟರು.
- 8ಕುಡಿಯು ವದು ಆಜ್ಞಾನುಸಾರವಾಗಿತ್ತು; ಯಾರೂ ಬಲವಂತ ಮಾಡಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಹೀಗೆ ಅರಸನು ತನ್ನ ಮನೆ ವಾರ್ತೆಯ ವರಿಗೆಲ್ಲಾ ಪ್ರತಿ ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಇಷ್ಟದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಮಾಡುವಂತೆ ಅವರಿಗೆ ನೇಮಿಸಿದ್ದನು.
- 9ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ವಷ್ಟಿ ಎಂಬ ರಾಣಿಯು ಅರಸನಾದ ಅಹಷ್ವೇರೋ ಷನ ಅರಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯರಿಗೆ ಔತಣವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಸಿದಳು.
- 10ಏಳನೇ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಅರಸನು ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸದಿಂದ ಮನಸ್ಸಂತೋಷವಾಗಿರುವಾಗ ರಾಣಿಯಾದ ವಷ್ಟಿಯು ಬಹು ರೂಪವತಿಯಾದ್ದದರಿಂದ ಜನರಿಗೂ ಪ್ರಧಾ ನರಿಗೂ ಅವಳ ಸೌಂದರ್ಯವನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ರಾಣಿಗೆ ರಾಜ ಕಿರೀಟವನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿ ಅರಸನ ಮುಂದೆ ಕರಕೊಂಡು ಬರುವದಕ್ಕೆ
