ಆಗ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರು ತಾವು ಆರಂಭಮಾಡಿದ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಮೊರ್ದೆಕೈ ತಮಗೆ ಬರೆದ ಪ್ರಕಾರವಾಗಿಯೂ ಮಾಡಲು ಒಪ್ಪಿಕೊಂಡರು.

- 21ಮೊರ್ದೆಕೈಯು ಈ ವರ್ತಮಾನಗಳನ್ನು ಬರೆದು ಅಹಷ್ವೇರೋಷನ ಸಕಲ ಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸವಿಾಪ ವಾಗಿಯೂ ದೂರವಾಗಿಯೂ ಇರುವ ಸಕಲ ಯೆಹೂ ದ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಪತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು.
- 22ಏನಂದರೆ, ಆ ದಿವಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರು ತಮ್ಮ ಶತ್ರುಗಳಿಂದ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ವಿಶ್ರಾಂತಿ ಹೊಂದಿದರು. ಆ ತಿಂಗಳು ದುಃಖದಿಂದ ಸಂತೋಷಕ್ಕೂ ಗೋಳಾಡುವಿಕೆಯಿಂದ ಸುದಿನಕ್ಕೂ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಯಿತು. ಆದದರಿಂದ ಅವರು ಆ ದಿವಸಗಳನ್ನು ಹಬ್ಬದ ದಿವಸಗಳಾಗಿಯೂ ಸಂತೋಷದ ದಿವಸಗಳಾಗಿಯೂ ಒಬ್ಬರಿಗೊಬ್ಬರು ಭಾಗಗಳನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸುವ ದಿವಸಗಳಾಗಿಯೂ ಬಡವ ರಿಗೆ ದಾನಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವ ದಿವಸಗಳಾಗಿಯೂ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು ಎಂಬದು.
- 23ಆಗ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರು ತಾವು ಆರಂಭಮಾಡಿದ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಮೊರ್ದೆಕೈ ತಮಗೆ ಬರೆದ ಪ್ರಕಾರವಾಗಿಯೂ ಮಾಡಲು ಒಪ್ಪಿಕೊಂಡರು.
- 24ಸಮಸ್ತ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರಿಗೂ ವೈರಿಯಾದ, ಅಗಾಗ ನಾದ, ಹಮ್ಮೆದಾತನ ಮಗನಾದ ಹಾಮಾನನು ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರನ್ನು ನಾಶ ಮಾಡಲು ಯೋಚನೆ ಮಾಡಿ ಕೊಂಡು ಅವರನ್ನು ಹಾಳುಮಾಡುವ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ನಾಶಮಾಡುವ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಪೂರೆಂಬ ಚೀಟನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿದನು;
- 25ಎಸ್ತೇರಳು ಅರಸನ ಮುಂದೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ಹಾಮಾನನು ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಯೋಚಿಸಿದ ದುರಾಲೋಚನೆಯು ಅವನ ತಲೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಬರುವ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಅವನೂ ಅವನ ಮಕ್ಕಳೂ ಗಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಹಾಕಲ್ಪಡುವ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಅರಸನು ಪತ್ರ ಗಳಿಂದ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದನು;
