- 18ಹೀಗಿರುವದರಿಂದ ಕರ್ತನು ಜನರನ್ನು ಕೆಂಪು ಸಮುದ್ರದ ಅರಣ್ಯ ಮಾರ್ಗ ದಲ್ಲಿ ಸುತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದನು. ಆದಾಗ್ಯೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಯುದ್ಧಸನ್ನದ್ಧರಾಗಿ ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶದೊಳಗಿಂದ ಹೋದರು.
- 19ಆಗ ಮೋಶೆಯು ತನ್ನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಯೋಸೇಫನ ಎಲುಬು ಗಳನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಹೋದನು. ಅವನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ--ದೇವರು ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿಯೂ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ದರ್ಶಿಸುವನು. ಆಗ ನೀವು ನನ್ನ ಎಲುಬುಗಳನ್ನು ಇಲ್ಲಿಂದ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕೂಡ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಖಂಡಿತವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಮಾಡಿಸಿದ್ದನು.
- 20ಹೀಗೆ ಅವರು ಸುಕ್ಕೋತಿನಿಂದ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಮಾಡಿ ಏತಾಮಿನ ಅರಣ್ಯದ ಅಂಚಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಇಳುಕೊಂಡರು.
- 21ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವರು ಹಗಲಿರುಳು ಪ್ರಯಾಣ ಮಾಡುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಕರ್ತನು ಹಗಲಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ದಾರಿ ತೋರಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಮೇಘಸ್ತಂಭದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ರಾತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಬೆಳಕು ಕೊಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಅಗ್ನಿಸ್ತಂಭದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಅವರ ಮುಂದೆ ಹೋದನು.ಆತನು ಹಗಲಲ್ಲಿ ಮೇಘಸ್ತಂಭವನ್ನೂ ರಾತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಗ್ನಿಸ್ತಂಭವನ್ನೂ ಜನರ ಎದುರಿನಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದು ಬಿಡಲಿಲ್ಲ.
- 22ಆತನು ಹಗಲಲ್ಲಿ ಮೇಘಸ್ತಂಭವನ್ನೂ ರಾತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಗ್ನಿಸ್ತಂಭವನ್ನೂ ಜನರ ಎದುರಿನಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದು ಬಿಡಲಿಲ್ಲ.
