ಆತನು ಹಗಲಲ್ಲಿ ಮೇಘಸ್ತಂಭವನ್ನೂ ರಾತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಗ್ನಿಸ್ತಂಭವನ್ನೂ ಜನರ ಎದುರಿನಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದು ಬಿಡಲಿಲ್ಲ.
