ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಗುಣುಗುಟ್ಟು ವಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಅವರ ಸಂಗಡ ನೀನು ಮಾತ ನಾಡಿ--ನೀವು ಸಾಯಂಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಂಸವನ್ನು ಉಣ್ಣು ವಿರಿ, ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯಿಂದ ತೃಪ್ತರಾಗುವಿರಿ. ನಾನೇ ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನೆಂದು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವಿರಿ ಎಂದು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳು ಅಂದನು.

- 13ಸಾಯಂಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಆದದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--ಲಾವಕ್ಕಿ ಗಳು ಬಂದು ಅವರ ಪಾಳೆಯವನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿಕೊಂಡವು; ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ ಮಂಜು ಪಾಳೆಯದ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಬಿದ್ದಿತ್ತು.
- 14ಬಿದ್ದಿದ್ದ ಮಂಜು ಹೋದ ಮೇಲೆ ಇಗೋ, ಗಟ್ಟಿ ಯಾದ ಪದಾರ್ಥವು ಮಂಜಿನ ಹನಿಯಷ್ಟು ಚಿಕ್ಕ ದಾದದ್ದೂ ಗುಂಡಾದದ್ದೂ ಅರಣ್ಯದ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಹರಡಿತ್ತು.
