ಆರನೆಯ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ತಂದದ್ದನ್ನು ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡುವಾಗ ಪ್ರತಿದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂಡಿಸು ವದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಎರಡರಷ್ಟಾಗಿರುವದು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

- 4ಆಗ ಕರ್ತನು ಮೋಶೆಗೆ--ಇಗೋ, ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ನಿಮಗಾಗಿ ನಾನು ಆಕಾಶದಿಂದ ಸುರಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ; ಅವರು ನನ್ನ ನ್ಯಾಯಪ್ರಮಾಣದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ನಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವರೋ ಇಲ್ಲವೋ ಎಂದು ನಾನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಪರೀಕ್ಷಿಸುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಜನರು ಹೊರಗೆಹೋಗಿ ಪ್ರತಿದಿನ ಆ ದಿನಕ್ಕೆ ಬೇಕಾದ ದ್ದನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿಸಲಿ.

- 6ಆಗ ಮೋಶೆ ಆರೋನರು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿ ಗೆಲ್ಲಾ--ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶದೊಳಗಿಂದ ಹೊರಗೆ ಬರಮಾಡಿದಾತನು ಕರ್ತನೇ ಎಂದು ಸಾಯಂಕಾಲವಾ ದಾಗ ನಿಮಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯುವದು.
- 7ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ ಕರ್ತನ ಮಹಿಮೆ ಯನ್ನು ನೋಡುವಿರಿ; ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ನೀವು ಗುಣುಗುಟ್ಟಿದ್ದನ್ನು ಆತನು ಕೇಳಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ನಮಗೆ ವಿರೋಧ ವಾಗಿ ನೀವು ಗುಣುಗುಟ್ಟುವ ಹಾಗೆ ನಾವು ಯಾರು ಅಂದರು.
