2. 3ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಅವರಿಗೆ--ನಾವು ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಂಸದ ಪಾತ್ರೆ ಗಳ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂತುಕೊಂಡು ಸಾಕಾಗುವಷ್ಟು ರೊಟ್ಟಿ ಯನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಗ ಕರ್ತನ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ಸತ್ತುಹೋಗಿದ್ದರೆ ಒಳ್ಳೆದಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಈ ಸಭೆಯನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಸಾಯಿಸುವಂತೆ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಈ ಅರಣ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಬರಮಾಡಿದ್ದೀರಿ ಅಂದರು.
3. 4ಆಗ ಕರ್ತನು ಮೋಶೆಗೆ--ಇಗೋ, ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ನಿಮಗಾಗಿ ನಾನು ಆಕಾಶದಿಂದ ಸುರಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ; ಅವರು ನನ್ನ ನ್ಯಾಯಪ್ರಮಾಣದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ನಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವರೋ ಇಲ್ಲವೋ ಎಂದು ನಾನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಪರೀಕ್ಷಿಸುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಜನರು ಹೊರಗೆಹೋಗಿ ಪ್ರತಿದಿನ ಆ ದಿನಕ್ಕೆ ಬೇಕಾದ ದ್ದನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿಸಲಿ.
4. 5ಆರನೆಯ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ತಂದದ್ದನ್ನು ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡುವಾಗ ಪ್ರತಿದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂಡಿಸು ವದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಎರಡರಷ್ಟಾಗಿರುವದು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
