2. 10ಆರು ವರುಷ ನಿನ್ನ ಭೂಮಿಗೆ ಬೀಜಹಾಕಿ ಅದರ ಬೆಳೆಯನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿಸಬೇಕು.
3. 11ಏಳನೆಯ ವರುಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ವಿಶ್ರಾಂತಿಯನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟು ಅದನ್ನು ಬೀಳು ಬಿಡಬೇಕು. ಆಗ ನಿನ್ನ ಜನರಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಬಡವರು ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಳೆದದ್ದನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನಲಿ; ಅವರು ಬಿಟ್ಟದ್ದನ್ನು ಹೊಲದ ಪಶುಗಳು ತಿನ್ನಲಿ. ಹೀಗೆ ನಿನ್ನ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷೇ ತೋಟದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಎಣ್ಣೇಮರಗಳ ತೋಪಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು.
4. 12ಆರು ದಿವಸ ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ಕೆಲಸಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡ ಬೇಕು; ಏಳನೆಯ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ಎತ್ತು ಕತ್ತೆಗಳು ವಿಶ್ರಮಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ನಿನ್ನ ದಾಸಿಯ ಮಗನು ಪರದೇಶಸ್ಥನು ದಣಿವಾರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿ.
5. 13ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕೈಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು; ಬೇರೆ ದೇವರುಗಳ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಬೇಡ, ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಬಾಯಿಂದ ಅದು ಹೊರಡಬಾರದು.
