1. 3ಹಾಲೂ ಜೇನೂ ಹರಿಯುವ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗು, ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೋಗು ವದಿಲ್ಲ. ನೀವು ಬಗ್ಗದ ಕುತ್ತಿಗೆಯುಳ್ಳ ಜನವಾಗಿದ್ದೀರಿ; ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ನಾನು ಸಂಹರಿಸೇನು ಅಂದನು.

3. 5ಕರ್ತನು ಮೋಶೆಗೆ--ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳು--ನೀವು ಬಗ್ಗದ ಕುತ್ತಿಗೆಯುಳ್ಳ ಜನರು, ನಾನು ಕ್ಷಣಮಾತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮ್ಮೊಳಗೆ ಬಂದು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮೂಲಮಾಡುವೆನು. ಹೀಗಿರುವದರಿಂದ ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಏನು ಮಾಡಬೇಕೋ ಅದನ್ನು ತಿಳುಕೊಳ್ಳು ವಂತೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಆಭರಣಗಳನ್ನು ಈಗ ನಿಮ್ಮಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದು ಬಿಡಿರಿ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳು ಅಂದನು.
4. 6ಅದರಂತೆಯೇ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಹೋರೆಬ್‌ ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಆಭರಣಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಬಿಟ್ಟರು.
5. 7ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಮೋಶೆಯು ಗುಡಾರವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದು ಪಾಳೆಯದ ಹೊರಗೆ ಪಾಳೆಯಕ್ಕೆ ದೂರವಾಗಿ ಹಾಕಿ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ದೇವದರ್ಶನ ಗುಡಾರ ಎಂದು ಹೆಸರಿಟ್ಟನು. ತರುವಾಯ ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕುವವರೆಲ್ಲಾ ಪಾಳೆಯದ ಹೊರಗೆ ಇರುವ ದೇವದರ್ಶನ ಗುಡಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದರು.
