ಸಾವಿರ (ತಲೆಗಳ) ವರೆಗೂ ಕರುಣೆ ತೋರಿಸುವಾತನೂ ದೋಷಾಪರಾಧ ವನ್ನೂ ಪಾಪವನ್ನೂ ಕ್ಷಮಿಸುವಾತನೂ ಅಪರಾಧಿ ಯನ್ನು ನಿರಪರಾಧಿಯೆಂದು ಎಣಿಸದವನೂ ತಂದೆಗಳ ದೋಷವನ್ನು ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಮೊಮ್ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಮೂರನೆಯ ಮತ್ತು ನಾಲ್ಕನೆಯ ತಲೆ ಗಳವರೆಗೂ ವಿಚಾರಿಸುವಾತನೂ ಎಂದು ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಿ ಕೊಂಡನು.

9ಅವನು--ಈಗ ನಿನ್ನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನನಗೆ ದಯೆ ದೊರಕಿದ್ದಾದರೆ ಓ ಕರ್ತನೇ, ನನ್ನ ಕರ್ತನು ನಮ್ಮ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರಲಿ ಅದು ಬಗ್ಗದ ಕುತ್ತಿಗೆಯುಳ್ಳ ಜನಾಂಗವೇ ಹೌದು. ಆದಾಗ್ಯೂ ನಮ್ಮ ದೋಷವನ್ನೂ ಪಾಪವನ್ನೂ ಮನ್ನಿಸಿ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಸ್ವಾಸ್ಥ್ಯವಾಗಿ ತೆಗೆದುಕೋ ಅಂದನು.
