ನದಿಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ವಿಾನುಗಳು ಸತ್ತವು; ನದಿಯು ದುರ್ವಾಸನೆಗೊಂಡಿತು. ಐಗುಪ್ತ್ಯರು ನದಿಯ ನೀರನ್ನು ಕುಡಿಯಲಾರದೆ ಹೋದರು. ಆಗ ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶದಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ರಕ್ತವೇ ಆಗಿತ್ತು.

Nadiyallidda viాnugalu sattavu; nadiyu durvaasanegonditu. Aiguptyaru nadiya neerannu kudiyalaarade hodaru. Aaga aiguptadeshadallellaa raktave aagittu.

King James Version (KJV): And the fish that [was] in the river died; and the river stank, and the Egyptians could not drink of the water of the river; and there was blood throughout all the land of Egypt.
World English Bible (WEB): The fish that were in the river died. The river became foul. The Egyptians couldn’t drink water from the river. The blood was throughout all the land of Egypt.

19ಕರ್ತನು ಮೋಶೆಗೆ--ನೀನು ಆರೋನನಿಗೆ--ನಿನ್ನ ಕೋಲನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಐಗುಪ್ತದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ನೀರುಗಳ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ನದಿ ಪ್ರವಾಹ ಕೆರೆ ಕೊಳ ಕುಂಟೆಗಳ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಕೈಚಾಚು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳು. ಆಗ ಅವು ರಕ್ತವಾಗುವವು; ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶದಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಮರದ ಪಾತ್ರೆ ಗಳಲ್ಲಾಗಲಿ ಕಲ್ಲಿನ ಪಾತ್ರೆಗಳಲ್ಲಾಗಲಿ ರಕ್ತವಿರುವದು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
20ಮೋಶೆ ಆರೋನರು ಕರ್ತನು ತಮಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದಂತೆಯೇ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಅವನು ಕೋಲನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ನದಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ನೀರನ್ನು ಫರೋಹನ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳ ಮುಂದೆಯೂ ಅವನ ಸೇವಕರ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳ ಮುಂದೆಯೂ ಹೊಡೆದನು. ಆಗ ನದಿಯ ನೀರೆಲ್ಲಾ ರಕ್ತವಾಯಿತು.
21ನದಿಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ವಿಾನುಗಳು ಸತ್ತವು; ನದಿಯು ದುರ್ವಾಸನೆಗೊಂಡಿತು. ಐಗುಪ್ತ್ಯರು ನದಿಯ ನೀರನ್ನು ಕುಡಿಯಲಾರದೆ ಹೋದರು. ಆಗ ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶದಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ರಕ್ತವೇ ಆಗಿತ್ತು.
22ಐಗುಪ್ತದ ಮಂತ್ರಗಾರರು ತಮ್ಮ ಮಂತ್ರಗಳಿಂದ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಫರೋಹನ ಹೃದಯವು ಕಠಿಣವಾಯಿತು. ಕರ್ತನು ಹೇಳಿದಂತೆಯೇ ಅವನು ಅವರ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳಲಿಲ್ಲ.
23ಫರೋಹನು ತಿರುಗಿ ಕೊಂಡು ತನ್ನ ಮನೆಗೆ ಹೋದನು. ಅವನು ಇದಕ್ಕಾ ದರೂ ತನ್ನ ಮನಸ್ಸುಕೊಡಲಿಲ್ಲ.
