ನದಿಯ ಲ್ಲಿರುವ ವಿಾನುಗಳು ಸಾಯುವವು; ನದಿಯು ನಾರು ವದು. ಐಗುಪ್ತ್ಯರು ನದಿಯ ನೀರನ್ನು ಕುಡಿಯುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಅಸಹ್ಯಪಡುವರು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳು ಅಂದನು.
Nadiya lliruva viాnugalu saayuvavu; nadiyu naaru vadu. Aiguptyaru nadiya neerannu kudiyuvadakke asahyapaduvaru endu helu andanu.

- 16ಅವನಿಗೆ ನೀನು--ಇಬ್ರಿಯರ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ ಅರಣ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಸೇವಿಸುವ ಹಾಗೆ ನನ್ನ ಜನರನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಆದರೆ ಇಗೋ, ಇಂದಿನ ವರೆಗೂ ನೀನು ಕೇಳಲಿಲ್ಲ.
- 17ಕರ್ತನು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ--ನಾನೇ ಕರ್ತನೆಂದು ಇದರಿಂದ ತಿಳುಕೊಳ್ಳುವಿ. ಇಗೋ, ನನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಕೋಲಿನಿಂದ ನದಿಯ ನೀರನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆ ಯುವೆನು, ಆಗ ಅದು ರಕ್ತವಾಗುವದು.

- 19ಕರ್ತನು ಮೋಶೆಗೆ--ನೀನು ಆರೋನನಿಗೆ--ನಿನ್ನ ಕೋಲನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಐಗುಪ್ತದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ನೀರುಗಳ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ನದಿ ಪ್ರವಾಹ ಕೆರೆ ಕೊಳ ಕುಂಟೆಗಳ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಕೈಚಾಚು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳು. ಆಗ ಅವು ರಕ್ತವಾಗುವವು; ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶದಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಮರದ ಪಾತ್ರೆ ಗಳಲ್ಲಾಗಲಿ ಕಲ್ಲಿನ ಪಾತ್ರೆಗಳಲ್ಲಾಗಲಿ ರಕ್ತವಿರುವದು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
- 20ಮೋಶೆ ಆರೋನರು ಕರ್ತನು ತಮಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದಂತೆಯೇ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಅವನು ಕೋಲನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ನದಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ನೀರನ್ನು ಫರೋಹನ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳ ಮುಂದೆಯೂ ಅವನ ಸೇವಕರ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳ ಮುಂದೆಯೂ ಹೊಡೆದನು. ಆಗ ನದಿಯ ನೀರೆಲ್ಲಾ ರಕ್ತವಾಯಿತು.
