4. 22எகிப்தின் மந்திரவாதிகளும் தங்கள் மந்திரவித்தையினால் அப்படிச் செய்தார்கள்; கர்த்தர் சொல்லியிருந்தபடி பார்வோனின் இருதயம் கடினப்பட்டது; அவர்களுக்குச் செவிகொடாமற்போனான்.
5. 23பார்வோன் இதையும் சிந்தியாமல், தன் வீட்டிற்குத் திரும்பிப்போனான்.
