ಕರ್ತನು ಮೋಶೆಯ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ--ನೀನು ಆರೋನನಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ಕೋಲನ್ನು ಹಿಡು ಕೊಂಡು ಕಾಲುವೆಗಳ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ನದಿಗಳ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಕೆರೆಗಳ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈಚಾಚು; ಆಗ ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶದ ಮೇಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕಪ್ಪೆಗಳು ಬರುವವು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಬೇಕು ಅಂದನು.

6ಆರೋನನು ಐಗು ಪ್ತದ ನೀರುಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೈಚಾಚಿದಾಗ ಕಪ್ಪೆಗಳು ಏರಿಬಂದು ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶವನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿಕೊಂಡವು.
7ಆದರೆ ಮಂತ್ರಗಾರರು ತಮ್ಮ ಮಂತ್ರಗಳಿಂದ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಮಾಡಿ ಕಪ್ಪೆಗಳನ್ನು ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶದ ಮೇಲೆ ಬರಮಾಡಿದರು.
