2. 3ನೀನು ಹೇಳಬೇಕಾದದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ, ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ--ಪಟ್ಟಣವು ಅದರ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅದರ ಕಾಲ ಬರುವ ಹಾಗೆ ರಕ್ತವನ್ನು ಚೆಲ್ಲುತ್ತದೆ. ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಅಶುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡುವ ಹಾಗೆ ತನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದೆ.
3. 4ನೀನು ಚೆಲ್ಲಿದ ನಿನ್ನ ರಕ್ತದಿಂದ ನಿನಗೆ ಅಪರಾಧ ಬಂದಿತು; ನೀನು ಮಾಡಿದ ನಿನ್ನ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳಿಂದ ನೀನು ಅಶುದ್ಧವಾದೆ; ನಿನ್ನ ದಿನಗಳನ್ನು ಸವಿಾಪಿಸಿರುವೆ; ನಿನ್ನ ವರುಷಗಳನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟಿರುವೆ. ಆದದರಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಅನ್ಯಜನಾಂಗಗಳಿಗೆ ನಾಚಿಕೆ ಯಾಗಿಯೂ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ದೇಶಗಳಿಗೆ ನಿಂದೆಯಾಗಿಯೂ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
