ನನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣು ಕಟಾಕ್ಷಿಸುವದಿಲ್ಲ; ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕನಿಕರಿಸುವದೂ ಇಲ್ಲ, ನಿನ್ನ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳಿಗೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಅಸಹ್ಯಗಳಿಗೂ ತಕ್ಕದ್ದನ್ನು ನಿನಗೆ ಮುಯ್ಯಿ ತೀರಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಆಗ ಕರ್ತನಾದ ನಾನೇ ಹೊಡೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವನೆಂದು ನಿನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯುವದು.
Nanna kannu kataakshisuvadilla; naanu ninnannu kanikarisuvadoo illa, ninna maargagaligoo ninna madhyadalliruva asahyagaligoo takkaddannu ninage muyyi teerisuttene. Aaga kartanaada naane hodeyuttiruvanendu ninage tiliyuvadu.

- 9ನನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣು ಕಟಾಕ್ಷಿಸುವದಿಲ್ಲ; ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕನಿಕರಿಸುವದೂ ಇಲ್ಲ, ನಿನ್ನ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳಿಗೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಅಸಹ್ಯಗಳಿಗೂ ತಕ್ಕದ್ದನ್ನು ನಿನಗೆ ಮುಯ್ಯಿ ತೀರಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಆಗ ಕರ್ತನಾದ ನಾನೇ ಹೊಡೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವನೆಂದು ನಿನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯುವದು.
- 10ಇಗೋ, ಆ ದಿನವು ಬಂತು, ಮುಂಜಾನೆ ಹೊರಟುಹೋಯಿತು. ಕೋಲು ಚಿಗು ರಿತು, ಗರ್ವ ಅರಳಿತು.
- 11ಬಲಾತ್ಕಾರವು ದುಷ್ಟತ್ವದ ಕೋಲಾಗಿ ಎದ್ದಿತು; ಅವರಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಅವರ ಜನ ಸಮೂಹದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಅವರ ಸಂಪತ್ತಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಏನೂ ಉಳಿಯುವದಿಲ್ಲ; ಅವರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಗೋಳಾಟವೂ ಇರುವದಿಲ್ಲ.
