ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನು ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಸ್ವತಂತ್ರರನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಥಿರವಾಗಿ ನಿಲ್ಲಿರಿ; ದಾಸತ್ವದ ನೊಗದಲ್ಲಿ ತಿರಿಗಿ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಡಿರಿ.
Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.
ಇಗೋ, ಪೌಲನೆಂಬ ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಹೇಳುವದೇನಂದರೆ, ನೀವು ಸುನ್ನತಿ ಮಾಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರೆ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನಿಂದ ನಿಮಗೆ ಏನು ಪ್ರಯೋಜನವಿಲ್ಲ.
Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing.
ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಸುನ್ನತಿ ಮಾಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಪ್ರತಿ ಯೊಬ್ಬನು ನ್ಯಾಯಪ್ರಮಾಣವನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕೈಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಹಂಗಿನಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಎಂದು ತಿರಿಗಿ ಪ್ರಮಾಣವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ.
For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law.
ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರಾದರೂ ನ್ಯಾಯ ಪ್ರಮಾಣದ ಮೂಲಕ ನೀತಿವಂತರಾಗಬೇಕೆಂದಿದ್ದರೆ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನಿಂದ ಯಾವ ಪ್ರಯೋಜನವೂ ಆಗುವದಿಲ್ಲ; ನೀವು ಕೃಪೆಯಿಂದ ಬಿದ್ದವರಾಗಿದ್ದೀರಿ.
Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.
ನಾವಾದರೋ ಆತ್ಮನ ಮೂಲಕ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯಿಂದಾದ ನೀತಿಯ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಗಾಗಿ ಎದುರು ನೋಡುತ್ತೇವೆ.
For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.
ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಯೇಸು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನಲ್ಲಿರುವವರಿಗೆ ಸುನ್ನತಿ ಯಾದರೂ ಪ್ರಯೋಜನವಿಲ್ಲ, ಆಗದಿದ್ದರೂ ಪ್ರಯೋ ಜನವಿಲ್ಲ. ಪ್ರೀತಿಯಿಂದ ಕೆಲಸನಡಿಸುವ ನಂಬಿಕೆ ಯಿಂದಲೇ ಪ್ರಯೋಜನವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.
For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.
ನೀವು ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ಓಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಿರಿ, ನೀವು ಸತ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ವಿಧೇಯರಾಗದಂತೆ ಯಾರು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ತಡೆದರು?
Ye did run well; who did hinder you that ye should not obey the truth?
ಈ ಪ್ರೇರಣೆಯು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕರೆದಾತನಿಂದ ಬಂದದ್ದಲ್ಲ.
This persuasion [cometh] not of him that calleth you.
ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಹುಳಿಯಿಂದ ಕಣಿಕ ವೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹುಳಿಯಾಗುವದು.
A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump.
ನೀವು ಬೇರೆ ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯವನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿಯುವದಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ಕರ್ತನಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ನನಗೆ ಭರವಸೆ ಉಂಟು. ಆದರೆ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕಳವಳಪಡಿಸುವವನು ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ಸರಿಯೇ ತನ್ನ ದಂಡನೆಯನ್ನು ಅನುಭವಿಸುವನು.
I have confidence in you through the Lord, that ye will be none otherwise minded: but he that troubleth you shall bear his judgment, whosoever he be.
ಸಹೋದರರೇ, ನಾನಾದರೋ ಸುನ್ನತಿಯಾಗ ಬೇಕೆಂದು ಇನ್ನೂ ಸಾರುವವನಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ ಇನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ಹಿಂಸೆಯಾಗುವದು ಯಾಕೆ? ಆ ಪಕ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಶಿಲುಬೆಯ ದೆಸೆಯಿಂದ ಉಂಟಾದ ಆಕ್ಷೇಪವು ನಿಂತು ಹೋಯಿ ತಲ್ಲಾ?
And I, brethren, if I yet preach circumcision, why do I yet suffer persecution? then is the offence of the cross ceased.
ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕಳವಳಪಡಿಸುವವರು ಛೇದಿಸ ಲ್ಪಡುವದೇ ನನ್ನ ಇಷ್ಟ.
I would they were even cut off which trouble you.
ಸಹೋದರರೇ, ನೀವು ಸ್ವತಂತ್ರರಾಗಿರಬೇಕೆಂದು ಕರೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೀರಿ. ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಶರೀರಕ್ಕೆ ಆಸ್ಪದವಾಗಿ ಬಳಸದೆ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯಿಂದ ಒಬ್ಬರಿಗೊಬ್ಬರು ಸೇವೆ ಮಾಡಿರಿ.
For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only [use] not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.
ನಿನ್ನ ನೆರೆಯವನನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನಂತೆಯೇ ಪ್ರೀತಿಸು ಎಂಬ ಒಂದೇ ಮಾತಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನ್ಯಾಯಪ್ರಮಾಣವೆಲಾ ನೆರವೇರುತ್ತದೆ.
For all the law is fulfilled in one word, [even] in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
ಆದರೆ ನೀವು ಒಬ್ಬರನ್ನೊಬ್ಬರು ಕಚ್ಚಿ ನುಂಗುವವರಾದರೆ ಒಬ್ಬರಿಂದೊಬ್ಬರು ನಾಶವಾದೀರಿ, ಎಚ್ಚರವಾಗಿರ್ರಿ.
But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another.
ನಾನು ಹೇಳುವದೇನಂದರೆ, ಆತ್ಮನನ್ನು ಅನು ಸರಿಸಿ ನಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ; ಆಗ ನೀವು ಶರೀರಭಾವದ ಅಭಿಲಾಷೆಯನ್ನು ಎಷ್ಟು ಮಾತ್ರಕ್ಕೂ ನೆರವೇರಿಸು ವದಿಲ್ಲ.
[This] I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
ಶರೀರದಾಶೆಯು ಆತ್ಮನಿಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ವಾಗಿದೆ. ಆತ್ಮನು ಶರೀರಕ್ಕೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ನೀವು ಮಾಡಲಿಚ್ಛಿಸುವದನ್ನು ಮಾಡದಂತೆ ಇವು ಒಂದ ಕ್ಕೊಂದು ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿವೆ.
For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.
ಆದರೆ ನೀವು ಆತ್ಮನಿಂದ ನಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವವರಾದರೆ ನ್ಯಾಯಪ್ರಮಾ ಣಕ್ಕೆ ಅಧೀನರಲ್ಲ.
But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.
ಶರೀರದ ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳು ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟವಾಗಿ ತೋರಿಬಂದಿವೆ; ಅವು ಯಾವವೆಂದರೆ--ವ್ಯಭಿಚಾರ ಜಾರತ್ವ ಅಶುದ್ಧತ್ವ ಬಂಡುತನ
Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are [these]; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
ವಿಗ್ರಹಾರಾಧನೆ ಮಾಟ ಹಗೆತನ ಮತಭೇದ ಹೊಟ್ಟೇಕಿಚ್ಚು ಸಿಟ್ಟು ಜಗಳ ಒಳಸಂಚು ಭಿನ್ನಾಭಿಪ್ರಾಯಗಳು
Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
ಅಸೂಯೆ ಗಳು ಕೊಲೆಗಳು ಕುಡುಕತನ ದುಂದೌತನ ಈ ಮೊದಲಾದವುಗಳೇ; ಇಂಥ ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ನಡಿಸುವವರು ದೇವರ ರಾಜ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಬಾಧ್ಯರಾಗುವದಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಮುಂಚೆಯೇ ಹೇಳಿದಂತೆ ಈಗಲೂ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ.
Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told [you] in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
ಆದರೆ ಆತ್ಮನ ಫಲವೇನಂದರೆ--ಪ್ರೀತಿ ಸಂತೋಷ ಸಮಾಧಾನ ದೀರ್ಘಶಾಂತಿ ವಿನಯ ಸದ್ಗುಣ ನಂಬಿಕೆ
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
ಸಾತ್ವಿಕತ್ವ ಮಿತವ್ಯಯ ಇಂಥ ವುಗಳೇ; ಇಂಥವುಗಳಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ನ್ಯಾಯ ಪ್ರಮಾಣವಿಲ್ಲ.
Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಶರೀರವನ್ನು ಅದರ ಇಚ್ಛೆ ದುರಾಶೆ ಸಹಿತವಾಗಿ ಶಿಲುಬೆಗೆ ಹಾಕಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
ನಾವು ಆತ್ಮನಲ್ಲಿ ಜೀವಿಸುವದಾದರೆ ನಾವು ಸಹ ಆತ್ಮನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯೋಣ.ನಾವು ವ್ಯರ್ಥವಾದ ಹೊಗಳಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಅಪೇಕ್ಷಿಸದೆಯೂ ಒಬ್ಬರನ್ನೊಬ್ಬರು ಕೆಣಕದೆಯೂ ಒಬ್ಬರ ಮೇಲೊಬ್ಬರು ಹೊಟ್ಟೇಕಿಚ್ಚು ಪಡದೆಯೂ ಇರೋಣ.
If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
ನಾವು ವ್ಯರ್ಥವಾದ ಹೊಗಳಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಅಪೇಕ್ಷಿಸದೆಯೂ ಒಬ್ಬರನ್ನೊಬ್ಬರು ಕೆಣಕದೆಯೂ ಒಬ್ಬರ ಮೇಲೊಬ್ಬರು ಹೊಟ್ಟೇಕಿಚ್ಚು ಪಡದೆಯೂ ಇರೋಣ.
Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.
