1. 10ದೇವರು ಒಣನೆಲಕ್ಕೆ ಭೂಮಿಯೆಂದೂ ಒಟ್ಟು ಗೂಡಿದ ನೀರುಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಮುದ್ರಗಳೆಂದೂ ಕರೆದನು. ದೇವರು ಅದನ್ನು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದೆಂದು ನೋಡಿದನು.
2. 11ತರುವಾಯ ದೇವರು--ಭೂಮಿಯು ಹುಲ್ಲನ್ನೂ ಬೀಜಕೊಡುವ ಪಲ್ಯವನ್ನೂ ತನ್ನೊಳಗೆ ಬೀಜವಿದ್ದು ತನ್ನ ಜಾತಿಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಫಲಫಲಿಸುವ ಹಣ್ಣಿನ ಮರವನ್ನೂ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಮೊಳೆಯಿಸಲಿ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು; ಅದು ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಆಯಿತು.
3. 12ಭೂಮಿಯು ಹುಲ್ಲನ್ನೂ ತನ್ನ ಜಾತಿಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಬೀಜಕೊಡುವ ಪಲ್ಯವನ್ನೂ ತನ್ನ ಜಾತಿಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ತನ್ನೊಳಗೆ ಬೀಜವಿರುವ ಹಣ್ಣಿನ ಮರವನ್ನೂ ಮೊಳೆ ಯಿಸಿತು. ದೇವರು ಅದನ್ನು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದೆಂದು ನೋಡಿ ದನು.
4. 13ಹೀಗೆ ಸಾಯಂಕಾಲವೂ ಪ್ರಾತಃಕಾಲವೂ ಆಗಿ ಮೂರನೆಯ ದಿನವಾಯಿತು.
5. 14ದೇವರು--ಹಗಲನ್ನು ರಾತ್ರಿಯಿಂದ ಬೇರೆ ಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಆಕಾಶದ ವಿಶಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಳಕುಗಳಿರಲಿ; ಅವು ಹಗಲಿರುಳುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸಮಯ ದಿನ ಸಂವತ್ಸರ ಗಳನ್ನೂ ತೋರಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಗುರುತುಗಳಾಗಿರಲಿ;
