ಅಬ್ರಾಮನೂ ನಾಹೋ ರನೂ ತಮಗೆ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯರನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡರು. ಅಬ್ರಾಮನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯ ಹೆಸರು ಸಾರಯಳು, ನಾಹೋರನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯ ಹೆಸರು ಮಿಲ್ಕಾ; ಈಕೆಯು ಹಾರಾನನ ಮಗಳು; ಹಾರಾನನು ಮಿಲ್ಕಳಿಗೂ ಇಸ್ಕಳಿಗೂ ತಂದೆ.
Abraamanoo naaho ranoo tamage hendatiyarannu tegedukondaru. Abraamana hendatiya hesaru saarayalu, naahorana hendatiya hesaru milkaa; eekeyu haaraanana magalu; haaraananu milkaligoo iskaligoo tande.

- 30ಆದರೆ ಸಾರಯಳು ಬಂಜೆ ಯಾದದ್ದರಿಂದ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಇದ್ದಳು.
- 31ತೆರಹನು ತನ್ನ ಮಗನಾದ ಅಬ್ರಾಮನನ್ನೂ ತನ್ನ ಮೊಮ್ಮಗನೂ ಹಾರಾನನ ಮಗನೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದ ಲೋಟನನ್ನೂ ತನ್ನ ಸೊಸೆಯಾದ ಅಬ್ರಾಮನ ಹೆಂಡತಿ ಸಾರಯಳನ್ನೂ ಕರಕೊಂಡು ಕಾನಾನ್‌ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗು ವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಕಲ್ದೀಯರ ಊರ್‌ ಅನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಅವರು ಹಾರಾನಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸವಾಗಿದ್ದರು.ತೆರಹನ ದಿನಗಳು ಒಟ್ಟು ಇನ್ನೂರ ಐದು ವರುಷಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದವು. ತರುವಾಯ ತೆರಹನು ಹಾರಾನಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸತ್ತನು.
