ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ಅವಳು ನನ್ನ ತಂಗಿ; ಆಕೆಯು ನನ್ನ ತಾಯಿಯ ಮಗಳಲ್ಲ, ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯ ಮಗಳೇ; ನನಗೆ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯಾದಳು.
Idallade nishchayavaagi avalu nanna tangi; aakeyu nanna taayiya magalalla, nanna tandeya magale; nanage hendatiyaadalu.

- 11ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನು--ಈ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಖಂಡಿತವಾಗಿ ದೇವರ ಭಯವು ಇಲ್ಲವೆಂದೂ ನನ್ನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಗಾಗಿ ಅವರು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೊಲ್ಲುವರೆಂದೂ ನಾನು ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡೆನು.

- 13ದೇವರು ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯ ಮನೆಯಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ದೇಶಾಂತರಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಲು ಕರೆದಾಗ ನಾನು ಅವಳಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ನನಗೆ ತೋರಿಸತಕ್ಕ ದಯವು ಯಾವದಂದರೆ, ನಾವು ಹೋಗುವ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ-- ಇವನು ನನ್ನ ಅಣ್ಣನೆಂಬದಾಗಿ ಹೇಳೆಂದು ಅಂದೆನು.
- 14ಆಗ ಅಬೀಮೆಲೆಕನು ಕುರಿಎತ್ತುಗಳನ್ನೂ ದಾಸ ದಾಸಿಯರನ್ನೂ ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟು ಅವನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯಾದ ಸಾರಳನ್ನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿದನು.
