ಶಿನಾರಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ಅಮ್ರಾಫೆಲನು, ಎಲ್ಲಸಾರಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ಅರಿಯೋಕನು, ಏಲಾಮಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ಕೆದೊರ್ಲಗೋಮರನು, ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ಅರಸನಾದ ತಿದ್ಗಾಲನು ಇವರ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಆದದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ,
And it came to pass in the days of Amraphel king of Shinar, Arioch king of Ellasar, Chedorlaomer king of Elam, and Tidal king of nations;
ಇವರು ಸೊದೋಮಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ಬೆರಗನೂ ಗೊಮೋರದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಬಿರ್ಶಗನೂ ಅದ್ಮಾಹದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಶಿನಾಬನಿಗೂ ಚೆಬೋಯಾಮಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ಶಮೇಬರನಿಗೂ ಬೇಲ ಎಂಬ ಚೋಗರದ ಅರಸನಿಗೂ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಯುದ್ದಮಾಡಿದರು.
[That these] made war with Bera king of Sodom, and with Birsha king of Gomorrah, Shinab king of Admah, and Shemeber king of Zeboiim, and the king of Bela, which is Zoar.
ಇವರೆಲ್ಲರು ಉಪ್ಪಿನ ಸಮುದ್ರ ವಾಗಿರುವ ಸಿದ್ದೀಮ್‌ ತಗ್ಗಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಒಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ಕೂಡಿ ಬಂದರು.
All these were joined together in the vale of Siddim, which is the salt sea.
ಅವರು ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ವರುಷ ಕೆದೊರ್ಲ ಗೋಮರನಿಗೆ ಸೇವೆಮಾಡಿ ಹದಿಮೂರನೆಯ ವರುಷ ದಲ್ಲಿ ತಿರಿಗಿ ಬಿದ್ದರು.
Twelve years they served Chedorlaomer, and in the thirteenth year they rebelled.
ಹದಿನಾಲ್ಕನೆಯ ವರುಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆದೊರ್ಲಗೋಮರನೂ ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇದ್ದ ಅರಸರೂ ಬಂದು ಅಷ್ಟರೋತ್‌ ಕರ್ನಯಿಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ರೆಫಾಯರನ್ನೂ ಹಾಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಜೂಜ್ಯರನ್ನೂ ಶಾವೆ ಕಿರ್ಯಾತಯಿಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಏಮಿಯರನ್ನೂ
And in the fourteenth year came Chedorlaomer, and the kings that [were] with him, and smote the Rephaims in Ashteroth Karnaim, and the Zuzims in Ham, and the Emims in Shaveh Kiriathaim,
ಅವರ ಬೆಟ್ಟ ವಾದ ಸೇಯಾರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಹೋರಿಯರನ್ನೂ ಅರಣ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸವಿಾಪವಾದ ಏಲ್ಪಾರಾನಿನ ವರೆಗೂ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸಂಹರಿಸಿದರು.
And the Horites in their mount Seir, unto El-paran, which [is] by the wilderness.
ಅವರು ಹಿಂತಿರುಗಿ ಕಾದೇಶ್‌ ಎಂಬ ಎನ್ಮಿಷ್ಪಾಟಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಅಮಾಲೆಕ್ಯರ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಬೈಲನ್ನು ಹಚಚೋನ್‌ತಾಮರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸವಾಗಿದ್ದ ಅಮೋರಿಯರನ್ನೂ ಸಂಹರಿಸಿದರು.
And they returned, and came to En-mishpat, which [is] Kadesh, and smote all the country of the Amalekites, and also the Amorites, that dwelt in Hazezon-tamar.
ಸೊದೋಮಿನ ಅರಸನೂ ಗೊಮೋರದ ಅರಸನೂ ಅದ್ಮಾಹದ ಅರಸನೂ ಚೆಬೋಯಾಮಿನ ಅರಸನೂ ಚೋಗ ರೆಂಬ ಬೇಲದ ಅರಸನೂ ಹೊರಟು
And there went out the king of Sodom, and the king of Gomorrah, and the king of Admah, and the king of Zeboiim, and the king of Bela (the same [is] Zoar;) and they joined battle with them in the vale of Siddim;
ಏಲಾಮಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ಕೆದೊರ್ಲಗೋಮರನಿಗೂ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ಅರಸನಾದ ತಿದ್ಗಾಲನಿಗೂ ಶಿನಾರಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ಅಮ್ರಾಫೆಲನಿಗೂ ಎಲ್ಲಸಾರಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ಅರಿಯೋಕನಿಗೂ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಸಿದ್ದೀಮ್‌ ತಗ್ಗಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡಿದರು. ಐದು ಮಂದಿ ಅರಸರು ನಾಲ್ವರು ಅರಸರಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿದ್ದರು.
With Chedorlaomer the king of Elam, and with Tidal king of nations, and Amraphel king of Shinar, and Arioch king of Ellasar; four kings with five.
ಸಿದ್ದೀಮ್‌ ತಗ್ಗು ಜೇಡಿನ ಕುಣಿಗಳಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿತ್ತು. ಸೊದೋಮ್‌ ಗೊಮೋರಗಳ ಅರಸರು ಓಡಿಹೋಗುವಾಗ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿದ್ದರು. ಉಳಿದವರು ಬೆಟ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ಓಡಿಹೋದರು.
And the vale of Siddim [was full of] slimepits; and the kings of Sodom and Gomorrah fled, and fell there; and they that remained fled to the mountain.
ಆಗ ಅವರು ಸೊದೋಮ್‌ ಗೊಮೋರಗಳ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸಂಪತ್ತನ್ನೂ ಅವರ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಆಹಾರ ಪದಾರ್ಥ ವನ್ನೂ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋದರು.
And they took all the goods of Sodom and Gomorrah, and all their victuals, and went their way.
ಸೊದೋ ಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸವಾಗಿದ್ದ ಅಬ್ರಾಮನ ಸಹೋದರನ ಮಗನಾದ ಲೋಟನನ್ನೂ ಅವನ ಸಂಪತ್ತನ್ನೂ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋದರು.
And they took Lot, Abram’s brother’s son, who dwelt in Sodom, and his goods, and departed.
ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡವನೊಬ್ಬನು ಹೋಗಿ ಇಬ್ರಿಯ ನಾದ ಅಬ್ರಾಮನಿಗೆ ಇದನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಿದನು. ಇವನು ಎಷ್ಕೋಲನಿಗೂ ಆನೇರನಿಗೂ ಸಹೋದರನಾಗಿದ್ದು ಅಮೋರಿಯನಾದ ಮಮ್ರೆಯ ಮೈದಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸ ವಾಗಿದ್ದನು. ಇವರು ಅಬ್ರಾಮನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದರು.
And there came one that had escaped, and told Abram the Hebrew; for he dwelt in the plain of Mamre the Amorite, brother of Eshcol, and brother of Aner: and these [were] confederate with Abram.
ತನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರನು ಸೆರೆ ಯಾಗಿ ಒಯ್ಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟನೆಂದು ಕೇಳಿ ಅಬ್ರಾಮನು ತನ್ನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹುಟ್ಟಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಿತರಾಗಿದ್ದ ಮುನ್ನೂರ ಹದಿನೆಂಟು ಸೇವಕರನ್ನು ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡಿ ದಾನಿನ ವರೆಗೆ ಹಿಂದಟ್ಟಿ
And when Abram heard that his brother was taken captive, he armed his trained [servants], born in his own house, three hundred and eighteen, and pursued [them] unto Dan.
ರಾತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧ ವಾಗಿ ತನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರ ಸೈನ್ಯವನ್ನು ವಿಭಾಗಿಸಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆದು ದಮಸ್ಕದ ಬಲಗಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಹೋಬಾದ ವರೆಗೆ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸಂಹರಿಸಿ
And he divided himself against them, he and his servants, by night, and smote them, and pursued them unto Hobah, which [is] on the left hand of Damascus.
ಸಂಪತ್ತನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹಿಂದಕ್ಕೆ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದನು. ತನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರನಾದ ಲೋಟನನ್ನೂ ಅವನ ಸಂಪತ್ತನ್ನೂ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯರನ್ನೂ ಜನರನ್ನೂ ಹಿಂದಕ್ಕೆ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದನು.
And he brought back all the goods, and also brought again his brother Lot, and his goods, and the women also, and the people.
ಅವನು ಕೆದೊರ್ಲಗೋಮರನನ್ನು ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇದ್ದ ಅರಸರನ್ನು ಸಂಹರಿಸಿ ಹಿಂತಿರುಗಿ ಬಂದ ಮೇಲೆ ಸೊದೋಮಿನ ಅರಸನು ಹೊರಟು ಶಾವೆ ಎಂಬ ಅರಸನ ತಗ್ಗಿನ ವರೆಗೆ ಅಬ್ರಾಮನನ್ನು ಎದುರುಗೊಳ್ಳುವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಬಂದನು.
And the king of Sodom went out to meet him after his return from the slaughter of Chedorlaomer, and of the kings that [were] with him, at the valley of Shaveh, which [is] the king’s dale.
ಸಾಲೇಮಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ಮೆಲ್ಕೀಚೆದೇಕನು ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನೂ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾ ರಸವನ್ನೂ ತಂದನು. ಇವನು ಮಹೋನ್ನತನಾದ ದೇವರ ಯಾಜಕನು.
And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he [was] the priest of the most high God.
ಇವನು ಅಬ್ರಾಮನನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಿ--ಅಬ್ರಾಮನು ಆಕಾಶವನ್ನು ಭೂಮಿ ಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿರುವ ಮಹೋನ್ನತನಾದ ದೇವರಿಂದ ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಲ್ಪಡಲಿ.
And he blessed him, and said, Blessed [be] Abram of the most high God, possessor of heaven and earth:
ನಿನ್ನ ಶತ್ರುಗಳನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿದ ಮಹೋನ್ನತ ನಾದ ದೇವರು ಸ್ತುತಿಹೊಂದಲಿ ಅಂದನು. ಅಬ್ರಾ ಮನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಎಲ್ಲಾದರಲ್ಲಿ ದಶಮಭಾಗವನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟನು.
And blessed be the most high God, which hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand. And he gave him tithes of all.
ಸೊದೋಮಿನ ಅರಸನು ಅಬ್ರಾಮನಿಗೆ--ಮನುಷ್ಯರನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ಕೊಡು, ಸಂಪತ್ತನ್ನು ನೀನೇ ತಕ್ಕೋ ಅಂದನು.
And the king of Sodom said unto Abram, Give me the persons, and take the goods to thyself.
ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಅಬ್ರಾಮನು ಸೊದೋ ಮಿನ ಅರಸನಿಗೆ--ನನ್ನ ಕೈಯನ್ನು ಆಕಾಶವನ್ನು ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿರುವ ಮಹೋನ್ನತ ದೇವರಾ ಗಿರುವ ಕರ್ತನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಎತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆ;
And Abram said to the king of Sodom, I have lift up mine hand unto the LORD, the most high God, the possessor of heaven and earth,
ನಿನ್ನವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನೂಲು ಮೊದಲುಗೊಂಡು ಕೆರದ ಬಾರನ್ನು ಸಹ ನಾನು ತಕ್ಕೊಳ್ಳುವದಿಲ್ಲ. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ--ನಾನು ಅಬ್ರಾಮನನ್ನು ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯವಂತನನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ ಎಂದು ನೀನು ಹೇಳಬಾರದು.ಯೌವನಸ್ಥರು ಊಟಮಾಡಿದ್ದು, ನನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಹೋದ ಆನೇರ ಎಷ್ಕೋಲ ಮಮ್ರೆ ಎಂಬ ಈ ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಪಾಲು ಮಾತ್ರ ಇರಲಿ; ಇವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಪಾಲನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿ ಅಂದನು.
That I will not [take] from a thread even to a shoelatchet, and that I will not take any thing that [is] thine, lest thou shouldest say, I have made Abram rich:
ಯೌವನಸ್ಥರು ಊಟಮಾಡಿದ್ದು, ನನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಹೋದ ಆನೇರ ಎಷ್ಕೋಲ ಮಮ್ರೆ ಎಂಬ ಈ ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಪಾಲು ಮಾತ್ರ ಇರಲಿ; ಇವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಪಾಲನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿ ಅಂದನು.
Save only that which the young men have eaten, and the portion of the men which went with me, Aner, Eshcol, and Mamre; let them take their portion.
