ಅವರು ರೆಬೆಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಕರೆದು ಆಕೆಗೆ--ಈ ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಸಂಗಡ ಹೋಗುವಿಯೋ ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದರು. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಆಕೆಯು--ನಾನು ಹೋಗುತ್ತೇನೆ ಅಂದಳು.

- 59ಆಗ ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಸಹೋದರಿಯಾದ ರೆಬೆಕ್ಕಳನ್ನೂ ಅವಳ ದಾದಿಯನ್ನೂ ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನ ಸೇವಕನನ್ನೂ ಅವನ ಜೊತೆಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಮನುಷ್ಯರನ್ನೂ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದರು.
- 60ಇದ ಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವರು ರೆಬೆಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಿ ಆಕೆಗೆ--ನೀನು ನಮ್ಮ ಸಹೋದರಿ, ನೀನು ಸಹಸ್ರ ಸಹಸ್ರಗಳಿಗೆ ತಾಯಿಯಾಗು; ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂತಾನದವರು ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಹಗೆ ಮಾಡುವವರ ದ್ವಾರಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಧೀನಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿ ಅಂದರು.
