ತರುವಾಯ ಅವನ ತಮ್ಮನು ಏಸಾವನ ಹಿಮ್ಮಡಿಯನ್ನು ಕೈಯಿಂದ ಹಿಡುಕೊಂಡು ಹೊರಗೆ ಬಂದನು. ಅವನಿಗೆ ಯಾಕೋಬ ಎಂದು ಹೆಸರಿಟ್ಟರು. ಆಕೆಯು ಇವರನ್ನು ಹೆತ್ತಾಗ ಇಸಾಕನು ಅರುವತ್ತು ವರುಷದವನಾಗಿದ್ದನು.
Taruvaaya avana tammanu esaavana himmadiyannu kaiyinda hidukondu horage bandanu. Avanige yaakoba endu hesarittaru. Aakeyu ivarannu hettaaga isaakanu aruvattu varushadavanaagiddanu.

- 27ಆ ಹುಡುಗರು ಬೆಳೆದಾಗ ಏಸಾವನು ಬೇಟೆ ಯಾಡುವದರಲ್ಲಿ ಜಾಣನಾಗಿದ್ದು ಅಡವಿಯ ಮನುಷ್ಯ ನಾದನು; ಯಾಕೋಬನು ಗುಡಾರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸ ಮಾಡುವ ಸಾಧುಮನುಷ್ಯನಾಗಿದ್ದನು.
- 28ಏಸಾವನು ಬೇಟೆಯಾಡಿ ತಂದ ಮಾಂಸವನ್ನು ಇಸಾಕನು ತಿಂದದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವನನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಮಾಡಿದನು. ರೆಬೆಕ್ಕಳು ಯಾಕೋಬನನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಮಾಡಿದಳು.
