1. 20ಗೆರಾರಿನ ಮಂದೆಯನ್ನು ಮೇಯಿಸುವವರು --ಈ ನೀರು ನಮ್ಮದು ಎಂದು ಇಸಾಕನ ಮಂದೆಯನ್ನು ಮೇಯಿಸುವವರ ಸಂಗಡ ಜಗಳವಾಡಿದರು. ಅವರು ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಜಗಳವಾಡಿದ ಕಾರಣ ಅವನು ಆ ಬಾವಿಗೆ ಏಸೆಕ್‌ ಎಂದು ಹೆಸರಿಟ್ಟನು.
2. 21ತರುವಾಯ ಅವರು ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ಬಾವಿಯನ್ನು ಅಗಿದಾಗ ಅದಕ್ಕಾಗಿಯೂ ಅವರು ಜಗಳವಾಡಿದಾಗ ಅವನು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಿಟ್ನಾ ಎಂದು ಹೆಸರಿಟ್ಟನು.
3. 22ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಅವನು ಹೊರಟುಹೋಗಿ ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ಬಾವಿಯನ್ನು ಅಗಿದಾಗ ಅದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಅವರು ಜಗಳವಾಡಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವನು--ಈಗ ಕರ್ತನು ನಮಗೆ ಸ್ಥಳವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ನಾವು ಈ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಯಾಗುವೆವು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ರೆಹೋಬೋತ್‌ ಎಂದು ಹೆಸರಿಟ್ಟನು.
