1. 16ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಮೇಕೆಯ ಮರಿಗಳ ಚರ್ಮಗಳನ್ನು ಅವನ ಕೈಗಳ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ನುಣುಪಾದ ಕೊರಳಿನ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಕಟ್ಟಿದಳು;
2. 17ತರುವಾಯ ತಾನು ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡಿದ ರುಚಿಯಾದ ಊಟವನ್ನೂ ರೊಟ್ಟಿ ಯನ್ನೂ ತನ್ನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯಾಕೋಬನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟಳು.
3. 18ಆಗ ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ--ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯೇ ಅಂದನು. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವನು--ಇಗೋ ಇದ್ದೇನೆ; ನನ್ನ ಮಗನೇ, ನೀನು ಯಾರು ಅಂದನು.
4. 19ಯಾಕೋಬನು ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಗೆನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಹಿರೀ ಮಗನಾದ ಏಸಾವನು; ನೀನು ನನಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ಎದ್ದು ಕೂತು ಕೊಂಡು. ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿ ಸುವಂತೆ ನನ್ನ ಬೇಟೆಯ ಮಾಂಸವನ್ನು ಊಟಮಾಡು ಅಂದನು.
5. 20ಇಸಾಕನು ತನ್ನ ಮಗನಿಗೆ--ನನ್ನ ಮಗನೇ, ಇಷ್ಟು ಬೇಗ ಅದು ನಿನಗೆ ಹೇಗೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿತು ಅಂದನು. ಅವನು--ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ನನ್ನೆದುರಿಗೆ ಅದು ಬರುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದನು ಅಂದನು.
