ತನಗೂ ಯಾಕೋಬ ನಿಗೂ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂರು ದಿನದ ಪ್ರಯಾಣದಷ್ಟು ಅಂತರವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟನು. ಯಾಕೋಬನು ಲಾಬಾನನ ಮಿಕ್ಕ ಮಂದೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮೇಯಿಸಿದನು.
Tanagoo yaakoba nigoo madhyadalli mooru dinada prayaanadashtu antaravannu bittanu. Yaakobanu laabaanana mikka mandegalannu meyisidanu.

- 37ಹೀಗಿರುವಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾಕೋಬನು ಲಿಬ್ನೆ, ಲೂಜು, ಅರ್ಮೋನ್‌ ಎಂಬ ಮರಗಳ ಹಸಿಕೋಲುಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಪಟ್ಟೆಪಟ್ಟೆಯಾಗಿ ತೊಗಟೆಯನ್ನು ಸುಲಿದು ಅವುಗಳ ಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಬಿಳೀ ಬಣ್ಣವು ಕಾಣಿಸುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿ
- 38ಮಂದೆಗಳು ನೀರು ಕುಡಿಯುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದ ಸಮಯವೇ ಅವುಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಂಗಮಕಾಲವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಅವು ಕೋಲುಗಳನ್ನು ನೋಡುತ್ತಾ ಸಂಗಮಮಾಡಿ ದ್ದರಿಂದ
