ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವನು--ನನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರರನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಮಂದೆಗಳನ್ನು ಎಲ್ಲಿ ಮೇಯಿಸು ತ್ತಾರೆಂದು ನನಗೆ ಹೇಳು ಎಂದು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಂಡನು.
Adakke avanu--nanna sahodararannu hudukuttiddene; avaru tamma mandegalannu elli meyisu ttaarendu nanage helu endu bedikondanu.

- 14ಯಾಕೋಬನು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ಹೋಗಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರರ ಕ್ಷೇಮಸಮಾಚಾರವನ್ನೂ ಮಂದೆಗಳ ಕ್ಷೇಮಸಮಾಚಾರವನ್ನೂ ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದು ನನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಹೆಬ್ರೋನ್‌ ತಗ್ಗಿನಿಂದ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು. ಆಗ ಅವನು ಶೆಕೆಮಿಗೆ ಬಂದನು.
- 15ಒಬ್ಬಾನೊಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಯೋಸೇಫ ನನ್ನು ಕಂಡಾಗ ಇಗೋ, ಅವನು ಹೊಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು. ಆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ಏನು ಹುಡುಕುತ್ತೀ ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದನು.
- 16ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವನು--ನನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರರನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಮಂದೆಗಳನ್ನು ಎಲ್ಲಿ ಮೇಯಿಸು ತ್ತಾರೆಂದು ನನಗೆ ಹೇಳು ಎಂದು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಂಡನು.
- 17ಆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು--ಅವರು ಇಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಹೊರಟು ಹೋದರು. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಅವರು--ನಾವು ದೋತಾ ನಿಗೆ ಹೋಗೋಣ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದದ್ದನ್ನು ನಾನು ಕೇಳಿಸಿಕೊಂಡೆನು ಅಂದನು. ಆಗ ಯೋಸೇಫನು ತನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರರನ್ನು ಹುಡಿಕಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಿ ದೋತಾನಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಕಂಡುಕೊಂಡನು.
- 18ಅವರು ದೂರದಿಂದ ಅವನನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದಾಗ ಅವನು ಅವರ ಸವಿಾಪಕ್ಕೆ ಬರುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಂಚೆಯೇ ಅವರು ಅವನನ್ನು ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕಬೇಕೆಂದು ಅವ ನಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಒಳಸಂಚುಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡರು.
