ಅದುಲ್ಲಾಮ್ಯನು ಆಕೆಯ ಊರಿನವರನ್ನು--ಬಹಿರಂಗ ಮಾರ್ಗದ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಸೂಳೆ ಎಲ್ಲಿ ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ ಅವರು--ಈ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವ ಸೂಳೆಯೂ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ ಅಂದರು.
Adullaamyanu aakeya oorinavarannu--bahiranga maargada baliyallidda soole elli endu kelidaaga avaru--ee sthaladalli yaava sooleyoo iralilla andaru.

- 20ಯೆಹೂದನು ಆ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ಈಡು ತಕ್ಕೊಳ್ಳುವದಕ್ಕೆ ತನ್ನ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತನಾದ ಅದುಲ್ಲಾಮ್ಯನ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ಮೇಕೆಯ ಮರಿಯನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದಾಗ ಆಕೆಯು ಸಿಗಲಿಲ್ಲ.
- 21ಅದುಲ್ಲಾಮ್ಯನು ಆಕೆಯ ಊರಿನವರನ್ನು--ಬಹಿರಂಗ ಮಾರ್ಗದ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಸೂಳೆ ಎಲ್ಲಿ ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ ಅವರು--ಈ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವ ಸೂಳೆಯೂ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ ಅಂದರು.
- 22ಆಗ ಅವನು ಯೆಹೂದನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ತಿರಿಗಿ ಬಂದು--ಆಕೆಯು ನನಗೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕಲಿಲ್ಲ, ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಆ ಸ್ಥಳದ ಮನುಷ್ಯರು--ಈ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೂಳೆಯು ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
- 23ಆಗ ಯೆಹೂದನು--ನಾವು ನಾಚಿಕೆಗೆ ಒಳಗಾಗದ ಹಾಗೆ ಅವಳು ಅದನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಲಿ; ಇಗೋ, ಈ ಮೇಕೆಯ ಮರಿಯನ್ನು ನಾನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ ದೆನು, ಆದರೆ ಆಕೆಯು ನಿನಗೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕಲಿಲ್ಲ ಅಂದನು.
