ಆಗ ಅವನು ಯೆಹೂದನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ತಿರಿಗಿ ಬಂದು--ಆಕೆಯು ನನಗೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕಲಿಲ್ಲ, ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಆ ಸ್ಥಳದ ಮನುಷ್ಯರು--ಈ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೂಳೆಯು ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
Aaga avanu yehoodana balige tirigi bandu--aakeyu nanage sikkalilla, idallade aa sthalada manushyaru--ee sthaladalli sooleyu iralilla endu helidaru.

- 21ಅದುಲ್ಲಾಮ್ಯನು ಆಕೆಯ ಊರಿನವರನ್ನು--ಬಹಿರಂಗ ಮಾರ್ಗದ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಸೂಳೆ ಎಲ್ಲಿ ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ ಅವರು--ಈ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವ ಸೂಳೆಯೂ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ ಅಂದರು.
- 22ಆಗ ಅವನು ಯೆಹೂದನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ತಿರಿಗಿ ಬಂದು--ಆಕೆಯು ನನಗೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕಲಿಲ್ಲ, ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಆ ಸ್ಥಳದ ಮನುಷ್ಯರು--ಈ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೂಳೆಯು ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
- 23ಆಗ ಯೆಹೂದನು--ನಾವು ನಾಚಿಕೆಗೆ ಒಳಗಾಗದ ಹಾಗೆ ಅವಳು ಅದನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಲಿ; ಇಗೋ, ಈ ಮೇಕೆಯ ಮರಿಯನ್ನು ನಾನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ ದೆನು, ಆದರೆ ಆಕೆಯು ನಿನಗೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕಲಿಲ್ಲ ಅಂದನು.
- 24ಹೆಚ್ಚುಕಡಿಮೆ ಮೂರು ತಿಂಗಳಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಯೆಹೂದನಿಗೆ--ನಿನ್ನ ಸೊಸೆಯಾದ ತಾಮಾರಳು ಜಾರತ್ವ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾಳೆ; ಜಾರತ್ವದಿಂದ ಗರ್ಭಿಣಿಯಾಗಿ ದ್ದಾಳೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು. ಆಗ ಯೆಹೂದನು--ಅವಳನ್ನು ಹೊರಗೆ ತನ್ನಿರಿ, ಅವಳು ಸುಡಲ್ಪಡಲಿ ಅಂದನು.
