ಆಗ ಯಾಕೋಬನು ಎದ್ದು ಬೇರ್ಷೆಬದಿಂದ ಹೊರಟನು. ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ತಮ್ಮ ತಂದೆಯಾದ ಯಾಕೋಬನನ್ನೂ ತಮ್ಮ ಚಿಕ್ಕವರನ್ನೂ ತಮ್ಮ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯರನ್ನೂ ಫರೋಹನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದ ಬಂಡಿಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಏರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೋದರು.

- 4ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಐಗುಪ್ತಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗುವೆನು. ನಾನೇ ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಮೇಲಕ್ಕೆ (ಕಾನಾನಿಗೆ) ತಿರಿಗಿ ಬರಮಾಡುವೆನು. ಯೋಸೇಫನು ನಿನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ತನ್ನ ಕೈ ಇಡುವನು ಅಂದನು.
- 5ಆಗ ಯಾಕೋಬನು ಎದ್ದು ಬೇರ್ಷೆಬದಿಂದ ಹೊರಟನು. ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ತಮ್ಮ ತಂದೆಯಾದ ಯಾಕೋಬನನ್ನೂ ತಮ್ಮ ಚಿಕ್ಕವರನ್ನೂ ತಮ್ಮ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯರನ್ನೂ ಫರೋಹನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದ ಬಂಡಿಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಏರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೋದರು.
- 6ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ದನಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕಾನಾನ್‌ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ತಾವು ಸಂಪಾದಿಸಿದ ತಮ್ಮ ಸಂಪತ್ತನ್ನೂ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಐಗುಪ್ತಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದರು. ಯಾಕೋಬನು ತನ್ನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸಂತತಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಬಂದನು.
- 7ತನ್ನ ಕುಮಾರ ರನ್ನೂ ಕುಮಾರರ ಕುಮಾರರನ್ನೂ ಕುಮಾರ್ತೆಯರನ್ನೂ ಕುಮಾರರ ಕುಮಾರ್ತೆಯರನ್ನೂ ಅಂತೂ ತನ್ನ ಸಂತತಿ ಯನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ತನ್ನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಐಗುಪ್ತಕ್ಕೆ ಕರಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದನು.
