1. 4ಆತನು ನನಗೆ--ಇಗೋ, ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಪಡಿಸಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಿ ಜನ ಸಮೂಹವನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿ ನಿನ್ನ ತರುವಾಯ ಹುಟ್ಟುವ ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂತತಿಗೆ ಈ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಶಾಶ್ವತ ಸ್ವಾಸ್ಥ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಕೊಡುತ್ತೇನೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
2. 5ಈಗ ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಐಗುಪ್ತಕ್ಕೆ ಬರುವ ಮೊದಲು ಐಗುಪ್ತದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನಗೆ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಕುಮಾರರಾದ ಎಫ್ರಾಯಾಮ್‌ ಮನಸ್ಸೆಯರು ನನ್ನ ವರು ಮತ್ತು ಅವರು ರೂಬೇನ್‌ ಸಿಮೆಯೋನ್‌ ಇವ ರಂತೆ ನನ್ನವರಾಗಿರಬೇಕು.
3. 6ಆದರೆ ಅವರ ತರುವಾಯ ನಿನ್ನಿಂದ ಹುಟ್ಟುವ ಸಂತಾನವು ನಿನ್ನದಾಗಿರಲಿ. ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ತಮ್ಮ ಬಾಧ್ಯತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಸಹೋದರರ ಹೆಸರುಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಕರೆಯಲ್ಪಡಲಿ.
4. 7ನಾನು ಪದ್ದನ್‌ ಅರಾಮಿನಿಂದ ಬಂದಾಗ ಕಾನಾನ್‌ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಫ್ರಾ ತಿಗೆ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ದೂರದಲ್ಲಿರುವಾಗ ರಾಹೇಲಳು ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸತ್ತಳು. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಅಂದರೆ ಬೇತ್ಲೆಹೇಮೆಂಬ ಎಫ್ರಾತಿನ ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ಹೂಣಿಟ್ಟೆನು ಅಂದನು.
5. 8ಆಗ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನು ಯೋಸೇಫನ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ--ಇವರು ಯಾರು ಅಂದನು.
