ನಾನು ಪದ್ದನ್‌ ಅರಾಮಿನಿಂದ ಬಂದಾಗ ಕಾನಾನ್‌ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಫ್ರಾ ತಿಗೆ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ದೂರದಲ್ಲಿರುವಾಗ ರಾಹೇಲಳು ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸತ್ತಳು. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಅಂದರೆ ಬೇತ್ಲೆಹೇಮೆಂಬ ಎಫ್ರಾತಿನ ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ಹೂಣಿಟ್ಟೆನು ಅಂದನು.

- 8ಆಗ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನು ಯೋಸೇಫನ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ--ಇವರು ಯಾರು ಅಂದನು.
- 9ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಯೋಸೇಫನು ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಗೆ--ದೇವರು ಈ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ನನಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ನನ್ನ ಕುಮಾರರು ಅಂದನು. ಆಗ ಅವನು ಅವರನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕರಕೊಂಡು ಬಾ. ನಾನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ ಅಂದನು.
