10ಏಳು ದಿವಸಗಳಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಪ್ರಳಯದ ನೀರು ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಇತ್ತು.
11ನೋಹನ ಜೀವಮಾನದ ಆರುನೂರನೆಯ ವರುಷದ ಎರಡನೆಯ ತಿಂಗಳಿನ ಅಂದರೆ ಅದೇ ತಿಂಗಳಿನ ಹದಿನೇಳನೆಯ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಮಹಾ ಅಗಾಧದ ಬುಗ್ಗೆಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ಒಡೆದವು. ಆಕಾಶದ ಕಿಟಕಿ ಗಳು ತೆರೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವು.
12ನಾಲ್ವತ್ತು ಹಗಲು ನಾಲ್ವತು ರಾತ್ರಿ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಮಳೆ ಸುರಿಯಿತು.
13ಅದೇ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ನೋಹನೂ ಅವನ ಕುಮಾರರಾದ ಶೇಮ್‌ ಹಾಮ್‌ ಯೆಫೆತ್‌ ಇವರೂ ನೋಹನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯೂ ಅವರ ಕೂಡ ಅವನ ಕುಮಾರರ ಮೂವರು ಹೆಂಡತಿಯರೂ ನಾವೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿ ದರು.
14ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವುಗಳ ಜಾತ್ಯಾನುಸಾರವಾಗಿ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ವಿಧವಾದ ಪ್ರಾಣಿ ಪಶು ಪಕ್ಷಿ ಕ್ರಿಮಿಗಳೂ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿದವು.
