ಹೀಗೆ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲಿದ್ದ ಜಲವು ಕ್ರಮವಾಗಿ ತಗ್ಗಿಹೋಯಿತು. ನೂರೈವತ್ತು ದಿನಗಳಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ನೀರು ಕಡಿಮೆ ಯಾಯಿತು.

- 5ಹತ್ತನೆಯ ತಿಂಗಳಿನ ವರೆಗೆ ನೀರು ಕ್ರಮವಾಗಿ ಕಡಿಮೆಯಾಗುತ್ತಾ ಬಂತು. ಹತ್ತನೆಯ ತಿಂಗಳಿನ ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಟ್ಟಗಳ ತುದಿಗಳು ಕಾಣ ಬಂದವು.
