ಏಳನೆಯ ತಿಂಗಳಿನ ಹದಿನೇಳನೆಯ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾವೆಯು ಅರಾರಾಟ್‌ ಬೆಟ್ಟಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ನೆಲೆಸಿತ್ತು.

2ಅಗಾಧದ ಬುಗ್ಗೆಗಳೂ ಆಕಾಶದ ಕಿಟಕಿಗಳೂ ಮುಚ್ಚಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವು. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಆಕಾಶದಿಂದ ಬೀಳುವ ಮಳೆಯೂ ನಿಂತಿತು.
3ಹೀಗೆ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲಿದ್ದ ಜಲವು ಕ್ರಮವಾಗಿ ತಗ್ಗಿಹೋಯಿತು. ನೂರೈವತ್ತು ದಿನಗಳಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ನೀರು ಕಡಿಮೆ ಯಾಯಿತು.
4ಏಳನೆಯ ತಿಂಗಳಿನ ಹದಿನೇಳನೆಯ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾವೆಯು ಅರಾರಾಟ್‌ ಬೆಟ್ಟಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ನೆಲೆಸಿತ್ತು.
5ಹತ್ತನೆಯ ತಿಂಗಳಿನ ವರೆಗೆ ನೀರು ಕ್ರಮವಾಗಿ ಕಡಿಮೆಯಾಗುತ್ತಾ ಬಂತು. ಹತ್ತನೆಯ ತಿಂಗಳಿನ ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಟ್ಟಗಳ ತುದಿಗಳು ಕಾಣ ಬಂದವು.
6ನಾಲ್ವತ್ತು ದಿವಸಗಳಾದ ತರುವಾಯ ಆದದ್ದೇ ನಂದರೆ, ನೋಹನು ತಾನು ಮಾಡಿದ ನಾವೆಯ ಕಿಟಕಿಯನ್ನು ತೆರೆದು
