ಆಗ ಶಾಫಾನನ ಮಗನಾದ ಅಹೀಕಾಮನ ಮಗನಾದ ಗೆದಲ್ಯನು ಅವರಿಗೂ ಅವರ ಮನುಷ್ಯರಿಗೂ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಮಾಡಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--ಕಸ್ದೀಯರಿಗೆ ಸೇವೆ ಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಭಯಪಡಬೇಡಿರಿ; ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸವಾಗಿದ್ದು ಬಾಬೆ ಲಿನ ಅರಸನಿಗೆ ಸೇವೆಮಾಡಿರಿ; ಆಗ ನಿಮಗೆ ಒಳ್ಳೇದಾ ಗುವದು.

- 8ನೆತನ್ಯನ ಮಗನಾದ ಇಷ್ಮಾಯೇಲನೂ ಕಾರೇಹನ ಕುಮಾರ ರಾದ ಯೋಹಾನಾನನೂ ಯೋನಾಥಾನನೂ ತನ್ಹುಮೆ ತನ ಮಗನಾದ ಸೆರಾಯನೂ ನೆಟೋಫದವನಾದ ಏಫಯನ ಕುಮಾರರೂ ಮಾಕಾನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೆಜನ್ಯ ನೀಯನೂ ಇವರೆಲ್ಲರು ತಮ್ಮ ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಸಹಿತವಾಗಿ ಗೆದಲ್ಯನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಮಿಚ್ಪಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದರು.

- 10ನಾನಾದರೋ ಇಗೋ, ನಾನು ನಮ್ಮ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬರುವ ಕಸ್ದೀಯರ ಹತ್ತಿರ ಕಾದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಮಿಚ್ಪದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಮಾಡುವೆನು; ಆದರೆ ನೀವು ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾ ರಸವನ್ನೂ ಹಣ್ಣುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಎಣ್ಣೆಯನ್ನೂ ಕೂಡಿಸಿ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪಾತ್ರೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇಟ್ಟು, ನೀವು ಹಿಡಿದಿರುವ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪಟ್ಟಣ ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸವಾಗಿರಿ.
