ನನ್ನ ವ್ಯಥೆಯನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ತೂಗಿದರೆ, ನನ್ನ ಶ್ರಮೆಯನ್ನು ತ್ರಾಸಿನಲ್ಲಿಟ್ಟರೆ ಲೇಸು.

Nanna vyatheyannellaa toogidare, nanna shrameyannu traasinallittare lesu.

1ಯೋಬನು ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರವಾಗಿ ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದನು.
2ನನ್ನ ವ್ಯಥೆಯನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ತೂಗಿದರೆ, ನನ್ನ ಶ್ರಮೆಯನ್ನು ತ್ರಾಸಿನಲ್ಲಿಟ್ಟರೆ ಲೇಸು.
3ಈಗಲೇ ಸಮುದ್ರದ ಮರಳಿಗಿಂತ ಅದು ಭಾರವಾಗಿದೆ; ಆದ ದರಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ಮಾತುಗಳು ನುಂಗಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವು.
4ಸರ್ವ ಶಕ್ತನ ಬಾಣಗಳು ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಇವೆ; ಅವುಗಳ ವಿಷವು ನನ್ನ ಆತ್ಮವನ್ನು ಕುಡಿಯುತ್ತವೆ; ದೇವರ ಹೆದರಿಕೆಗಳು ನನಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ನನ್ನ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಇಳಿದವು.
