ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ನಿಜನಿಜವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳು ತ್ತೇನೆ--ಬಾಗಲಿನಿಂದ ಕುರೀಹಟ್ಟಿಯೊಳಗೆ ಬಾರದೆ ಮತ್ತೆಲ್ಲಿಂದಾದರೂ ಹತ್ತಿಬರುವವನೇ ಕಳ್ಳನೂ ಸುಲುಕೊಳ್ಳುವವನೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.
ಆದರೆ ಬಾಗಲಿ ನಿಂದ ಒಳಗೆ ಬರುವವನು ಆ ಕುರಿಗಳ ಕುರುಬನಾಗಿ ದ್ದಾನೆ.
But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.
ಬಾಗಲು ಕಾಯುವವನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ತೆರೆಯು ತ್ತಾನೆ; ಕುರಿಗಳು ಅವನ ಸ್ವರವನ್ನು ಕೇಳುತ್ತವೆ, ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಸ್ವಂತ ಕುರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಹೆಸರು ಹೇಳಿ ಕರೆದು ಅವು ಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊರಗೆ ನಡಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ.
To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out.
ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಕುರಿ ಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊರಗೆ ಬಿಟ್ಟ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವುಗಳ ಮುಂದೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಕುರಿಗಳು ಅವನ ಸ್ವರವನ್ನು ತಿಳು ಕೊಳ್ಳುವದರಿಂದ ಅವನನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸುತ್ತವೆ;
And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.
ಅವು ಅನ್ಯನನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸದೆ ಅವನ ಬಳಿಯಿಂದ ಓಡಿ ಹೋಗುವವು; ಅವು ಅನ್ಯರ ಸ್ವರವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಯುವದಿಲ್ಲ.
And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.
ಯೇಸು ಈ ಸಾಮ್ಯವನ್ನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದನು; ಆದರೆ ಆತನು ಅವರ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ವಿಷಯಗಳು ಏನಾಗಿದ್ದವು ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಗ್ರಹಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ.
This parable spake Jesus unto them: but they understood not what things they were which he spake unto them.
ಯೇಸು ತಿರಿಗಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ--ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ನಿಜ ನಿಜವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ, ಕುರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ನಾನೇ ಬಾಗ ಲಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep.
ನನಗಿಂತ ಮುಂಚೆ ಬಂದವರೆಲ್ಲರು ಕಳ್ಳರೂ ಸುಲುಕೊಳ್ಳುವವರೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆದರೆ ಕುರಿಗಳು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಕಿವಿಗೊಡಲಿಲ್ಲ.
All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them.
ನಾನೇ ಆಬಾಗಲು; ನನ್ನ ಮೂಲಕವಾಗಿ ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿದರೆ ಅವನು ರಕ್ಷಣೆ ಹೊಂದುವನು; ಇದ ಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವನು ಒಳಗೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಾನೆ, ಹೊರಗೆ ಬರು ತ್ತಾನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಮೇವನ್ನು ಕಂಡುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾನೆ.
I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.
ಕಳ್ಳನು ಕದ್ದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಕೊಲ್ಲುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಹಾಳುಮಾಡು ವದಕ್ಕೂ ಮಾತ್ರ ಬರುತ್ತಾನೇ ಹೊರತು ಮತ್ತಾವದಕ್ಕೂ ಬರುವದಿಲ್ಲ; ನಾನಾದರೋ ಅವುಗಳಿಗೆ ಜೀವವು ಇರಬೇಕೆಂತಲೂ ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿಯು ಇರಬೇಕೆಂತಲೂ ಬಂದೆನು.
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have [it] more abundantly.
ನಾನೇ ಒಳ್ಳೇ ಕುರುಬನು; ಒಳ್ಳೇ ಕುರುಬನು ಕುರಿಗಳಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಕೊಡುತ್ತಾನೆ.
I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.
ಆದರೆ ಕೂಲಿಯವನು ಕುರುಬನಲ್ಲವಾದದ ರಿಂದಲೂ ಕುರಿಗಳು ತನ್ನವುಗಳಲ್ಲವಾದದರಿಂದಲೂ ತೋಳ ಬರುವದನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ಕುರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಓಡಿ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಆಗ ತೋಳವು ಕುರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದು ಕೊಂಡು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಚದರಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.
But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep.
ಕೂಲಿಯವನು ಕೂಲಿಯವನೇ ಆಗಿರುವದರಿಂದ ಕುರಿಗಳಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಚಿಂತಿಸದೆ ಓಡಿ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಾನೆ.
The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep.
ನಾನೇ ಒಳ್ಳೇ ಕುರುಬನು; ನನ್ನ ಕುರಿಗಳನ್ನು ನಾನು ಬಲ್ಲೆನು. ನನ್ನ ಕುರಿಗಳು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದವೆ.
I am the good shepherd, and know my [sheep], and am known of mine.
ತಂದೆಯು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದಿರುವಂತೆ ನಾನು ತಂದೆಯನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದಿರುತ್ತೇನೆ; ಕುರಿಗಳಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಕೊಡುತ್ತೇನೆ.
As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.
ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಈ ಹಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಸೇರದ ಬೇರೆ ಕುರಿಗಳು ನನಗುಂಟು; ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಸಹ ನಾನು ತರಬೇಕು ಮತ್ತು ಅವು ನನ್ನ ಸ್ವರಕ್ಕೆ ಕಿವಿಗೊಡುವವು; ಆಗ ಒಂದೇ ಹಿಂಡು ಆಗುವದು ಮತ್ತು ಒಬ್ಬನೇ ಕುರುಬನು ಇರುವನು.
And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, [and] one shepherd.
ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ತಿರಿಗಿಪಡಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ಅದನ್ನು ಕೊಡುತ್ತೇನೆ; ಆದದ ರಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ.
Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.
ಯಾವ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಾದರೂ ಅದನ್ನು ನನ್ನಿಂದ ತೆಗೆಯುವದಿಲ್ಲ; ಆದರೆ ನನ್ನಷ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ನಾನೇ ಅದನ್ನು ಕೊಡುತ್ತೇನೆ. ನಾನು ಅದನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನನಗೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರವಿದೆ; ಅದನ್ನು ತಿರಿಗಿ ಪಡಕೊಳ್ಳುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನನಗೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರವಿದೆ. ಈ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಯನ್ನು ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆ ಯಿಂದ ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದೇನೆ ಅಂದನು.
No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.
ಈ ಮಾತುಗಳ ದೆಸೆಯಿಂದ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ತಿರಿಗಿ ಭೇದಉಂಟಾಯಿತು.
There was a division therefore again among the Jews for these sayings.
ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಅನೇಕರು--ಅವನಿಗೆ ದೆವ್ವ ಹಿಡಿದದೆ ಮತ್ತು ಹುಚ್ಚನಾಗಿ ದ್ದಾನೆ; ನೀವು ಯಾಕೆ ಅವನ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳುತ್ತೀರಿ ಅಂದರು.
And many of them said, He hath a devil, and is mad; why hear ye him?
ಬೇರೆಯವರು--ಇವು ದೆವ್ವ ಹಿಡಿದವನ ಮಾತುಗಳಲ್ಲ, ದೆವ್ವವು ಕುರುಡನ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳನ್ನು ತೆರೆ ಯುವದಕ್ಕಾದೀತೇ ಅಂದರು.
Others said, These are not the words of him that hath a devil. Can a devil open the eyes of the blind?
ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ (ದೇವಾಲಯದ) ಪ್ರತಿ ಷ್ಠೆಯ ಹಬ್ಬವಿತ್ತು; ಆಗ ಚಳಿಗಾಲವಾಗಿತ್ತು.
And it was at Jerusalem the feast of the dedication, and it was winter.
ಯೇಸು ದೇವಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನ ದ್ವಾರಾಂಗಳ ದೊಳಗೆ ತಿರುಗಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು;
And Jesus walked in the temple in Solomon’s porch.
ಆಗ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರು ಆತನ ಸುತ್ತಲು ಬಂದು ಆತನಿಗೆ--ಇನ್ನು ಎಷ್ಟರ ವರೆಗೆ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಸಂದೇಹಪಡಿಸುತ್ತೀ? ನೀನು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ನಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ ನಮಗೆ ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳು ಅಂದರು.
Then came the Jews round about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou make us to doubt? If thou be the Christ, tell us plainly.
ಯೇಸು ಅವರಿಗೆ--ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದೆನು, ಆದರೆ ನೀವು ನಂಬಲಿಲ್ಲ; ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಮಾಡುವ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳೇ ನನ್ನ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಕೊಡುತ್ತವೆ.
Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father’s name, they bear witness of me.
ಆದರೆ ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದಂತೆ ನೀವು ನನ್ನ ಕುರಿಗಳಲ್ಲವಾದದರಿಂದ ನಂಬದೆ ಇದ್ದೀರಿ.
But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you.
ನನ್ನ ಕುರಿಗಳು ನನ್ನ ಸ್ವರಕ್ಕೆ ಕಿವಿಗೊಡುತ್ತವೆ, ನಾನು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಬಲ್ಲೆನು; ಅವು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸುತ್ತವೆ.
My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
ನಾನು ಅವುಗಳಿಗೆ ನಿತ್ಯಜೀವವನ್ನು ಕೊಡುತ್ತೇನೆ; ಅವು ಎಂದಿಗೂ ನಾಶವಾಗುವದಿಲ್ಲ; ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಅವು ಗಳನ್ನು ಯಾವನೂ ನನ್ನ ಕೈಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ಕಸಕೊಳ್ಳ ಲಾರನು.
And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any [man] pluck them out of my hand.
ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯು ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗಿಂತಲೂ ದೊಡ್ಡವನು; ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯ ಕೈಯೊಳ ಗಿಂದ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಯಾವನೂ ಕಸಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾರನು.
My Father, which gave [them] me, is greater than all; and no [man] is able to pluck [them] out of my Father’s hand.
ನಾನು ಮತ್ತು ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯು ಒಂದಾಗಿದ್ದೇವೆ ಎಂದು ಉತ್ತರಕೊಟ್ಟನು.
I and [my] Father are one.
ಆಗ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರು ತಿರಿಗಿ ಆತನನ್ನು ಕೊಲ್ಲುವ ದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಕಲ್ಲುಗಳನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡರು.
Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him.
ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಯೇಸು ಅವರಿಗೆ--ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯಿಂದ ಅನೇಕ ಒಳ್ಳೇ ಕಾರ್ಯ ಗಳನ್ನು ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ತೋರಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ಅವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ನೀವು ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಕಲ್ಲೆಸೆಯಬೇಕೆಂದಿದ್ದೀರಿ ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದನು.
Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me?
ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರು ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರವಾಗಿ ಆತನಿಗೆ--ಒಳ್ಳೇ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳಿಗೋಸ್ಕರವಲ್ಲ, ದೇವದೂಷಣೆಗೋಸ್ಕ ರವೂ ನೀನು ಮನುಷ್ಯನಾಗಿದ್ದು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ನೀನೇ ದೇವರಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವದಕ್ಕೊಸ್ಕರವೂ ನಾವು ನಿನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಕಲ್ಲೆಸೆಯುತ್ತೇವೆ ಅಂದರು.
The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.
ಯೇಸು ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರವಾಗಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ--ನೀವು ದೇವರುಗಳಾ ಗಿದ್ದೀರಿ ಎಂದು ನಾನು ಹೇಳಿದೆನು ಎಂಬದಾಗಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ನ್ಯಾಯಪ್ರಮಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆದಿರುವದಿಲ್ಲವೋ?
Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?
ಹಾಗಾದರೆ ದೇವರವಾಕ್ಯವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದವರು ದೇವರುಗಳೆಂದು ಆತನು ಕರೆದಿರುವಲ್ಲಿ ಬರಹವು ವ್ಯರ್ಥವಾಗಲಾರದಷ್ಟೆ.
If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;
ತಂದೆಯು ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠೆಮಾಡಿ ಲೋಕಕ್ಕೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟವನಾದ ನಾನು ದೇವರ ಮಗನಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಕ್ಕೆ--ನೀನು ದೇವ ದೂಷಣೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೀ ಎಂದು ನೀವು ಅನ್ನುತ್ತೀರೋ?
Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?
ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ನಾನು ಮಾಡದೆ ಹೋದರೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನಂಬಬೇಡಿರಿ.
If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not.
ನಾನು ಮಾಡಿ ದರೂ ನೀವು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನಂಬದಿದ್ದರೆ ತಂದೆಯು ನನ್ನ ಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನಾನು ಆತನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಇರುವದನ್ನು ನೀವು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಂಡು ನಂಬುವಂತೆ ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನಾ ದರೂ ನಂಬಿರಿ ಅಂದನು.
But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father [is] in me, and I in him.
ಆದದರಿಂದ ತಿರಿಗಿ ಅವರು ಆತನನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿಯುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಹುಡುಕಿದರು; ಆದರೆ ಆತನು ಅವರ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು
Therefore they sought again to take him: but he escaped out of their hand,
ಯೋಹಾನನು ಮೊದಲು ಬಾಪ್ತಿಸ್ಮ ಮಾಡಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಸ್ಥಳವಾದ ಯೊರ್ದನಿನ ಆಚೆಗೆ ತಿರಿಗಿಹೋಗಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸಿದನು.
And went away again beyond Jordan into the place where John at first baptized; and there he abode.
ಆಗ ಅನೇಕರು ಆತನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು--ಯೋಹಾನನು ಅದ್ಭುತಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಆದರೆ ಈ ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಯೋಹಾನನು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೆಲ್ಲವೂ ನಿಜವಾಗಿದೆ ಅಂದರು.ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಅನೇಕರು ಆತನ ಮೇಲೆ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯಿಟ್ಟರು.
And many resorted unto him, and said, John did no miracle: but all things that John spake of this man were true.
ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಅನೇಕರು ಆತನ ಮೇಲೆ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯಿಟ್ಟರು.
And many believed on him there.
