ಆತನು ಈ ಅದ್ಭುತಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದನೆಂದು ಕೇಳಿದ ಜನರು ಸಹ ಆತನನ್ನು ಎದುರುಗೊಂಡರು.

Aatanu ee adbhutakaaryavannu maadidanendu kelida janaru saha aatanannu edurugondaru.

16ಇವು ಗಳನ್ನು ಆತನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ಮೊದಲು ತಿಳಿದಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಆದರೆ ಯೇಸು ಮಹಿಮೆ ಹೊಂದಿದಾಗ ಇವು ಆತನ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಬರೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿವೆಯೆಂದೂ ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ಅವರು ಆತನಿಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದರೆಂದೂ ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಮಾಡಿ ಕೊಂಡರು.
17ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಆತನು ಲಾಜರನನ್ನು ಸಮಾ ಧಿಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ಕರೆದು ಅವನನ್ನು ಸತ್ತವರೊಳಗಿಂದ ಎಬ್ಬಿಸಿದಾಗ ಆತನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇದ್ದ ಜನರು ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಕೊಟ್ಟರು.
18ಆತನು ಈ ಅದ್ಭುತಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದನೆಂದು ಕೇಳಿದ ಜನರು ಸಹ ಆತನನ್ನು ಎದುರುಗೊಂಡರು.
19ಆದದರಿಂದ ಫರಿಸಾಯರು ತಮ್ಮತಮ್ಮೊಳಗೆ--ನಿಮ್ಮ ಯತ್ನವೇನೂ ಸಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ನೀವು ತಿಳಿಯುವದಿಲ್ಲವೋ? ಇಗೋ, ಲೋಕವು ಆತನ ಹಿಂದೆ ಹೋಯಿತು ಎಂದು ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡರು.
20ಹಬ್ಬದಲ್ಲಿ ಆರಾಧಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದವರಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲ ವರು ಗ್ರೀಕರಿದ್ದರು.
